Terrible staff

Schon etliche male im Hotel und immer wieder begeistert davon

War ein sehr schönes Hotel

Family suite was great for our stay.

I was stayed that hotel more than 10 times it was my favourite destination at düsseldorf however I was dissapointment last two vacation. The front desk personel is too competent if I couldnt insist I couldnt make our check in and we stayed out the door at 11.30pm. Aditional that the new decoration is unfunctional that the big room getting small. Thirdly the cleaning is terrible

All in all a great stay.

Booked 1 night for a trade fair visit in Essen, a fifteen minute drive away. Great hotel, nice clean rooms, good bed and TV with Dutch channels Excellent breakfast with a choice between continental and English breakfast. Free parking spaces Much cheaper than comparable hotels in Essen during the fair periods.

I was completely satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The accommodation offered a first class experience in every respect. The room was comfortable and clean, the service was excellent and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was also ideal as it was close to attractions and amenities. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back!

Everything is clean and tidy. The hotel is also dog-friendly in terms of the rooms, but for breakfast and meals in general you have to rely on room service as there is no food area where dogs are allowed. Luckily, Düsseldorf has many great restaurants where well-behaved dogs are very welcome.

The hotel and rooms are very beautiful and comfortable to the maximum extent, and I recommend accommodation.

Because we are Dutch, we also expected the familiar Van der Valk quality in Düsseldorf. We reserved the most expensive room at €450 per night, because the stay was intended as a birthday gift. A penthouse with jacuzzi. However, everything was broken. The air conditioning did not work, so it was very hot. The “technical” service was absent, and the host was unable to resolve this. Furthermore, the jacuzzi kept emptying so we couldn't take a bath. In addition, the blinds had been removed from part of the room (see photo) so that plenty of sun came in at five o'clock in the morning. All in all, this “birthday present” left us with quite a hangover. We wonder whether Van der Valk Netherlands (where we are regular customers) is aware of these abuses. The only plus was the courteous treatment at the counter, and part of the money we received back.

Es ist wirklich super und das Personal sehr freundlich, ideal für Business. Bitte kein Taxi bestellen, bei dem man nicht mit Kreditkarte bezahlen kann, wer hat heute noch Bargeld dabei !
