I have stay to Ramada hotel end I Ben very welcome with Catalina service, I recommended this hotel because them have lovely staff, end everything perfectly. Perfect for a quick stay over. Clean and great value for the price. Sara was super helpful and friendly with a warm welcome after a long long drive. I’d recommend for those in need of somewhere fairly basic and affordable. Handy with the services next door for a various food too.

Really nice and clean. Great beds. Plenty of room. Good shower. Perfect location. Polite staff. Value for money. Close to Warner Brothers and shopping centre. We only stayed a night and hardly touched down but it was great. I will always wonder why every hotel puts out just two teabags though 🤣

This hotel is right next to Watford Junction station - an easy walk round the corner. (Check on google maps and take the short cut rather than walk along main road). The hotel seems clean and modern. It is obviously very popular with people visiting WB studios (which is what we were doing). Stayed in a family room set up for 2 adults and 2 children (7 and 4). The beds for the children are the usual budget hotel foldaway types and not very sturdy but fine for one night. The room was generally clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good with a moderate selection (not as wide a selection as Premier Inn but fine for fueling up before heading off to WB). The WB shuttle bus goes from outside the station so a 3 min walk back to the bus stop. Overall a perfectly adequate and well located budget option for WB stay. We came on the train from across London. If we had come in the car I would have chosen something outside of the town centre. If you are travelling with kids and hoping to eat out in the evening after you get here (which we didn't) then you've got a bit of a walk back to the main part of town with the shopping centre and chain restaurants. The only annoying thing about the stay was the noise at night - and it had nothing to do with the railway! We were woken up by talking and doors banging in the corridor a couple of times. Whether or not it was because our room had a connecting door to another room I don't know but someone's alarm went off at 4.45am and it sounded like it was in our room. Whichever poor person had such an early start on a Friday then proceeded to get showered and dressed in a rather loud fashion and felt the need to constantly talk loudly to the rest of the people in that room. That's not the hotel's fault of course but bear in mind this is a budget hotel and the sound proofing is minimal.

We booked this hotel as we were attending a concert at Wembley. Hotel was reasonably priced as most were overpriced due to the concert being on. We arrived at 1pm 1hr before checking in as I had read that there ain’t many parking spaces available and as we were driving ideally a parking space would be perfect. Hotel was easy to find using the sat nav, when we arrived I parked outside the front of hotel all spaces were taken out the front but luckily they had a space available in the gated carpark. This is quiet small so we were lucky to have got one. We were also allowed to check in 1hr early as a room was ready. The hotel receptionist was friendly and very helpful, check in was easy and quick he asked if we were attending the concert at Wembley and gave us the quickest and best route to get there using public transport. In the end we ended up getting an Uber for £10 direct and was only about 15 min journey. If you prefer you can get a bus outside to the tube station or walk roughly 10 mins to nearest tube station. We found our hotel room to be clean and tidy and had adequate space. The room was a little out dated decorative but has all amenities we needed. As it was a warm day they had a fan provided. To return from Wembley we walked away from Wembley and got an for £13 as public transport was a nightmare which was to be expected. We would definitely use this hotel again as like I said staff were lovely and friendly and location was good for what we needed.

I had the misfortune to use this B&B some weeks ago, except that, I am not quite sure you can even call it a B&B. Instead, it is simply a chap, looking to make some extra money on his big house – whilst still wanting to retain the benefits that come with not opening your house to strangers, and paying ones at that. So, here is my warning to anyone interested in renting a room in Leafy Suburban Bed & Breakfast (LSBB). It is in effect a sort of scam that is misleading, and here is why. Do NOT even try and rent this property if… You like B&Bs that are fully transparent in their advertising and you get what you paid for courtesy of your hard earned money You (and anyone that comes with you) do not want to suffer the indignity and embarrassment of having to take off your shoes upon entry (stuff a private owner may demand of you but, a place, intended for public rental changing you also?). I wonder why this is not stated in the his glitzy ads? Because he knows, if he did, nobody would even look at his so-called B&B You want a bit of privacy when using the bathroom/toilet. LSBB advertises its nice looking bathroom/toilet on accommodation seeking websites. What they do not tell you is that, you’ll be sharing with several other tenants. In short, you will need to be dressed appropriately and have to peep out into the corridor each time you wish to use it, to ensure nobody else is using it You like to get what you pay for and get the little things that typically come with a B&B (such as cups or glasses perhaps, coffee making facilities perhaps, etc.). You do not get anything with LSBB – just a small room and nowt else! You want to be close to civilisation such as public transport and some shops maybe. This place is in the middle of nowhere and to even find the place, you had better have a degree in place finding. There are no signs on the long and badly lit road it is on. The lovely looking and spacious kitchen and garden (advertised) are nice, no doubt. However, they are largely for show. During my unfortunate stay there, at NO point was I invited to use either, and although I did not use the kitchen, I have since read on here that, its more one of, it’s all DIY (Do-it-Yourself) in this poor excuse for a B&B. Do not use this property also, if you want to be able to talk (at normal sound levels) in your room whether on the phone or to your companion. We were asked to keep our voice down, which I thought was rather rude. The prices he charges are even MORE than many quality hotels that offer 10 times better service. For one search, he was charging £64 a night whilst many hotels were either the same or less. In short, this is an owner wanting to have his cake and eat it. Someone wanting the best of both worlds. Charge the peasants to have a room in his sumptuous house and keep their money whilst, on the other hand, wanting all the benefits of a private house owner with NO visiting strangers. The location is great. Located on the street where all banks, stores, supermarkets and restaurants located. The st albans cathedral abbey is just located opposite of the hotel. However, for the amenities, it would be best if they could provide hair conditioner.

The reception and lobby operate like a train station,lots of people arriving and leaving arround the clock.the lobby is small and crowded, so you can not simply sitting and enjoying the bar. Breakfast buffee is somewhat less crowded and there's fine verity of food. We got a suite on the 4th floor,a fine large room, with lots of furniture,but the storage places for clothes almost non existing. It is as if the closet,open one , is only planed for buissnessmen,who hang their suits! Not enough light above the mirror for a woman, to put some makeup. Bathroom good size but the door is not closing easily. The taxi/bolt sevice is awful.we had to wait for a cab 15 to 20 minutes, mayby the location is problematic, and walking to the nearest tube swiss cotage, took ne 12 minutes. The staff was very nice and helpfull!
