Aspen Winds on Fall River Reviews

We were so impressed with the Aspen Winds! We booked a room with a jacuzzi and fireplace. It was cold outside, so we loved having both of these. We had bull elk come walking across the property right in front of our deck each night, which was amazing!! The view was so beautiful, the room was very nice and spacious, bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We so enjoyed the 3 nights we were there, would highly recommend, and hope to be back again!!

Staff was extremely nice and very accommodating. Our accommodations was super nice and clean. It was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The location was spectacular with the feel of seclusion, yet close to town! We literally had wildlife in our backyard. I just can’t say enough about this place. We will definitely stay here again.

Phil and Dottie were absolutely wonderful hosts. So friendly and helpful. Simply genuine people. The room was lovely and very clean. We had all the comforts needed. The coffee was great. The rendezvous basket was a perfect way to snack over the 3 days we were here and the fresh cut flowers made it extra special. Would highly recommend a stay!

It was perfect. The staff were so kind and helpful. The room was perfect and with the a good snow covering the ground it was beautiful looking out the open windows. It was a 2 minute drive to the park and about 5 minutes to town with many good restaurants.

Room, linens, tub, shower, kitchen, all felt and looked incredibly clean. Felt very comfortable in the room, fireplace worked like a dream. Woman at the front desk was the sweetest, she obviously genuinely cares about you and your experience at the lodge. So helpful as well, giving us recommendations for restaurants and things to do around town. I just can’t say enough good things about our stay. In fact I’m writing this review as I lay in the bed in front of the fire in our room, it’s been so lovely I couldn’t even wait until checkout tomorrow. Will definitely recommend this place anytime someone asks where to stay in Estes Park, and will definitely book another room here if we ever return!

Really great place, so glad I found it. Last minute plans to spend a night in Estes Park and 2 days in Rocky Mountain National Park with family. Came across Aspen Winds on the web and was amazed that they had a vacancy. Two bedroom with a full kitchen just a few miles from the Fall River entrance to RMNP. We loved the place. Perfect location right next to the river and as I said very close to RMNP. Also not far from the Safeway for groceries. Unit was up to date with all the amenities. Super clean and immediately felt like home. Very friendly owners with easy check-in. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be our #1 choice when we come back.

Clean, cozy, comfortable, quiet. Amazing owners. I want to move in! Stayed New Years Eve weekend. Get the snowshoe package and the spa suite. After a day of snowshoeing in Rocky Mountain National Park, warm up by the fireplace and soak your troubles away on the spa suite tub.

Really like the property. Only recommendation is to have one assigned parking per unit vs. free for all. You could end up parking far from your rental.

We stayed for two nights in Unit 7 on 2nd floor. Wo derful stay. Used jetted tub and fireplace and they were so great. The views were very nice and the sound of the river was so relaxing. Wildlife.... right at your doorstep on the property. Great way to finish 8 dayColorado trip.

Our experience at Aspen Winds was wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. We’re definitely coming back to spend more time there. We’ve told our whole family about this place.

My husband and I stayed a couple of nights. The owners are really friendly and accommodating. Place was super clean and welcoming, nice decor. We did sit outside our room that overlooked the Fall River and also enjoyed their gazebo area. Very close proximity to RNP, great location.

Found Aspen Winds online. It had great reviews and was close to RMNP so a plus, plus. Aspen winds is very easy to find and the staff have been outstanding. The pictures you see are not fabricated. This place is beautiful right next to a river. Our cabin had a small comfortable balcony overlooking the river. The cabin is very clean , cozy and accommodating. Everything you need is here, with the exception of a washer and dryer. You will need to make other arrangements if you want to wash clothes. You have your own kitchenette with very good coffee to make daily. Good water pressure with plenty of hot water. The bed is one of the most comfortable we have had the luxury of using. There has been a large bull elk on the property every evening and every morning. While not aggressive we still gave him his space. We hate to leave and cannot wait to return.

My husband and I went to Estes, CO for a wedding. We stayed at the Stanley Hotel because it was in my bucket list. The Stanley was a let down (I’m leaving a review of the Stanley if your interested in seeing it). We decided there was no way we were staying at that hotel again. While looking for a different place to stay, we happened upon Aspen Winds on Fall River. From the moment my husband and I arrived we had a wonderful experience. The Owners Dot and Phil made us feel very welcomed. They answered all of questions and gave us some great places to eat in town and areas to see. The room we stayed in was very clean, well maintained, big, had a gas fireplace and a large jacuzzi tub. The shower was big and had plenty of hot water. The bed was king size and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. I would advise all visitors coming to the area because of the Stanley Hotel, to stay at this facility and only book a tour of the Stanley and not only save you some disappointments but also money! The Aspen Winds is definitely a better place all around.
