It’s a good inn. The room is beautiful and clean. It’s a valuable place to stay. However, my living building doesn't have an elevator and the poor Wi-Fi.

We had a wonderful weekend in Eugene to watch U of O track & field, and a baseball game. The hotel was a question as you never know until you get there, but we were pleasantly surprised as its location and condition can’t be beat. The service at the hotel, from the front desk to housekeeping to breakfast staff were wonderful. The free breakfast was perfect with plenty of options to choose from, and it’s within walking distance of the campus, literally across the street from the dorms and basketball arena. Only complaints were the water temperature in the pool was too cold, and there are no elevators unless you stay in the main building, but we didn’t care. We still used the pool every day, and enjoyed the view of Matthew Knight Arena from the third floor. Plus to top everything off, the hotel is sooo QUIET!!! We didn’t hear neighbors, traffic, or even doors opening and closing at night. It’s about as quiet as any hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

This hotel was beyond my expectations! Very modern & beautiful room, lobby & breakfast area. The breakfast was far better than other hotels I've been to. Staff very friendly & helpful. Lots of parking. Restaurants on both sides, right next door! All in all, a great experience. Will definitely return to it when we need to stay in Eugene again!

Shower was broken (No, it's not because I didn't pull the handle hard enough like the desk person said!) Sliding door was unlocked and open when we arrived. Big stripe of purple nail polish on the bedspread. Loud noise (generator? water pump? heater?) all night. We've stayed here before with no problems, but Room 313 is NOT the room to stay in!

Great bed! Sheets were awesome too! They were soft, and had a slight bleach smell to them, in a good way! Great sleep!

Very disappointed in our stay. We had ants crawling in our bed, in the bathroom and on the floors.

Our favorite place to stay in Eugene. Newer hotel, very clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly, especially the breakfast crew. Breakfast includes a nice variety of quality hot and cold items… everyone can find something to enjoy. The hotel is in walking distance to restaurants, and is right across the street from the university. It’s a great choice while in Eugene!!!

The room was great! Newly renovated and the continental breakfast was yummy with lots of options for food. We would definitely book Avon in the future.

We love coming here. It is my favorite hotel in Eugene. The neighborhood is not much to look at, but it is right across the street from the University, so we can visit our youngest easily, and the hotel is reliably clean, friendly and nicely taken care of.

Quiet and nicely updated space right across from UO campus. We had a creek view which was lovely. Included breakfast was warm, fresh and had plenty of options. Would definitely stay again!

Easy check in with helpful and polite staff. The only weird thing was that when we got to our room, the door was wide open. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

There was a dirty soap wrapper in the shower, a bag of old frozen berries in the freezer and when you turn the shower on it spits out brown rust water.
