I would use one word to describe this hotel -Paradise. We came as guests and the staff treated us so well, we left as friends. We had our wedding at the Bricia Du Mar and it was prefect. The location for a wedding is what we dreamed of. The hotel is low rise and like a little village with beautiful rooms and a stunning pool area. There is a fantastic gym and spa also. What Raquel, Pedro and everyone else did to help us was above and beyond what you would expect from a hotel. They say they are not wedding planners but what they did to help us arrange our wedding was incredible. This a family run hotel and you can see the care and attention they have to make the hotel a success as it is quite new. Everything is spotlessly clean and such a calming wonderful environment. Our wedding went without a hitch and the attention to detail was incredible. All the staff at our wedding were genuinely happy to be there from the chefs to the bar staff and waiters who couldn’t do enough for us. We had a short stay here in March. Nice roomy apartment’s. Good choice for breakfast. The hotel is situated on a very steep hill, the village is 10min walk down hill & there is a selection of restaurant’s, cafes & gift shops. The beach is a further 10min walk from here. Lidl and another large supermarket are approx 30min walk away and there’s a bridge to walk to Portimão which we did twice.

Beautiful property right on Praia da Rocha. Excellent service at check-in, was given a quick tour of the lobby and room by a wonderful gentleman. Beautiful and tidy room, stunning view from balcony, though the small bathroom window opens into the corridor and at times there is an unpleasant odour from a pipe in the toilet. Breakfast was adequate and delicious, staff were helpful and nice. Overall a great place to stay!

Whether we were strolling through the beautifully landscaped gardens, lounging by the pool, or enjoying a quiet meal in the restaurant, we felt an overwhelming sense of tranquility that instantly melted away the stresses of everyday life. The hotel's commitment to creating a peaceful environment extended to its accommodations as well. Our room was a true sanctuary, providing a blissful retreat where we could relax and unwind. The tastefully appointed interiors, plush bedding, and thoughtful amenities contributed to a restful atmosphere that allowed us to get a restorative night's sleep. We woke up each morning feeling refreshed and ready to embrace the day ahead. What truly set this hotel apart was its dedication to catering to families. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every member of the family felt welcome and comfortable. From engaging activities for children to family-friendly dining options, every aspect of our stay was tailored to our needs. The hotel even offered serene spaces for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their little ones, striking the perfect balance between tranquility and family-friendly amenities. Furthermore, the attentive and friendly staff added to the overall sense of relaxation. They were always on hand to offer assistance or provide recommendations, and their warm and genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests. Beyond the hotel itself, the surrounding area offered plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and exploration. We took advantage of the hotel's proximity to nature, embarking on leisurely walks and hikes that allowed us to connect with the peaceful surroundings. It was the ideal way to escape the hustle and bustle of the work world and reconnect with nature.

Stayed at Gramacho for 7 days , superb apartment overlooking the 4th hole, had breakfast at the clubhouse 10 euros, breakfast fine. Golf on all 4 courses was superb, alto, pinta , silves and gramacho. Must recommend a couple of places in Carvoeiro, the best restaurant for miles AL GALE, must try the Portuguese steak and flambé prawns. Plus the wonderful and friendly pub A BOA VIDA, the friendly family run pub, great service, music and a personal touch. They went out of there way to make us feel welcome and on 2 occasions ordered us taxis when none were available ( after 2am) Jennifer and her parents own a wonderful bar very welcoming to golfers, families and couples. Have to say next door the CARVOEIRO BAR is completely different, a little bit more lively although watch you change when getting served as 3 of our group got short changed by at least 40 euros overall, plus some dodgy characters hang around in and near the pub. The owner offered our group a free drink on arrival, which swayed us to go in a few times, whether he is involved in the dodgy bar staff not to sure. Be very wary !!!! Overall a superb time with a great group of friends. Highly recommend this part of Portugal for the golf, weather and hospitality.

This was our first time staying at this hotel though we are very familiar with the area having been frequent visitors with our family over the past 14 years or so. The hotel was recommended to us so we decided to take a chance and book - we needn't have been worried. From the moment we checked in we found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful.Our room was a nice comfortable size with an amazing sea view and was extremely comfortable. Breakfast is very varied though it was busy no matter what time we decided to attend yet this was not an issue. The area is very much in the quieter part of Praia da Rocha which is great and because we were there in October we had no problems getting seated at various restaurants - though in high season that would be adifferent story. All in all this was a great relaxing trip and this hotel was wonderful -we will definitely return next year!
