I spent over 40 minutes trying to find the wrong accommodation address on Google. The facilities were outdated and the air conditioner was not cool even with the air conditioner on.

The Junior Suite that we were assigned is very spacious, with a classic decoration, the location is ideal, very central. The breakfast buffet too simple, little variety. I also missed some additional services, such as the cafeteria.

Girl available and very polite at check in, old but well sized room, they could do more like the small and old TV, bed not exactly comfortable, quality and price not average, I don't think I will return.!! The location is perfect

B and B located in convenient location, within short walking distance from Firenze Santa Maria Novella station. It is convenient in location to explore the city centre of Florence. Our room was beautiful. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. Breakfast selection was generous and there was functioning WiFi on the property. We had difficulty with lukewarm hot water. When I enquired about this as it was very unpleasant to have cold showers in winter, my concern was dismissed as the property owner returned to his own residence and advised there was hot water and that I had to wait. After running the water for 30 minutes, there was still only lukewarm water coming out of the hot taps. This occurred in the morning, early afternoon and evening. We gave up and did not shower until we reached our next destination. Such a shame, as I would not return to stay here for this reason.

An amazing b&b. Room was absolutely stunning. Very close to all the stunning places to see, and to the train station. The staff were very friendly and our room was cleaned daily. The whole place was spotless. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of choice, never had hot chocolate like it. It suited us perfectly for our 5 day city break. Highly recommended.

Poor customer service left a sour taste. Our stay was mostly pleasant but I'd advise others against staying here. The manager/owner at reception was hostile to us for reasons that are unclear. He complained to my girlfriend about a mark on a blanket but she thought he was joking it was so insignificant. We did not cause the 'mark'. Life is too short. Find somewhere with professional customer service and a more welcoming atmosphere

nice and friendly staffs, small breakfast area but good variety with eggs, hams, breads, fruits etc. Rooms are vintage style, for me very good but may not suitable for some people.

This is a great hotel in a great location. We were five min walk from the Duomo, around the corner from Medici palace and half mile from Uffizi. There is also a dollar store around the corner, with plenty of food options in the area. 10 min walk from SMN train station. The hotel was lovely, historic hotel with a lot of charm. Breakfast was near the reception, but we only ate there one day. Staff was attentive, and waited on site until we arrived at night. There was a mini bar fridge and great air con.

The hotel told us they didn’t receive our reservation through *******, even though they did eventually found out that ******* has sent the reservation into their email. We booked for five nights, and they only have one night available. The staff told us she was sorry about the situation, and we can drink the water in the mini bar for free. Then the next morning, another staff came over and charged quite a bit for the drinks. The room had a very high ceiling and the ac was barely working, it can’t cool off the room at all… It is a very dishonest place….. will never book it again.

We stayed a night at Residenza Castiglioni and it was really comfortable. We were made very welcome, our room had everything we needed and the breakfast was very good too. It was ideally located only five minutes from Santa Maria Novella station which was great for us as we were travelling by train. I would certainly recommend anyone to stay here.
