It was great to have a kitchen and free laundry. Very close to the beach, which is why we visited. Perfect for what we needed. Staff very attentive, helpful and courteous. Room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again, amd would recommend to family and friends

I am a 13-year platinum elite member at Marriott, and I haven’t experienced any issues that were not resolved to mutual satisfaction until now. I cannot recommend this hotel in good conscience, for multiple reasons. - Billing. Upon check-in for my three-night stay, I specifically asked if it were possible to redeem a free night certificate for one night of my stay and pay for the other two. The response was “sure, no problem”. All well and good…until checkout. The same individual who told me I could redeem the certificate now told me I could not. Escalating my concern to hotel management proved fruitless. I must also mention the rude, condescending way I was treated. I do not expect deference, only simple professionalism. That was very much NOT in evidence here. - Hot water—or should I say lack of it. Our first room had no hot water in the shower. The bathroom sink did have hot water. I tried all combinations of positioning the handle in the shower, both in temperature and flow positions. The water temperature did not change. I timed the water flow, thinking my room might be some distance from the heat source. After 10 minutes I determined there was going to be no hot water and called the front desk. I was told to “put the handle halfway to hot” and try again. I explained that I had already done that, and one would think I was speaking an unknown language. I tried again (for another 10 minutes) with no luck. A second call to the front desk brought the clerk to my room, where we went through a third attempt to get hot water to come out of the bathtub faucet. We were moved to a second room 40 minutes after my first call to the front desk. This should have been our first red flag. Hot water was a concern in THAT room as well. The bathtub faucet handle had to be in just the right position (a little over halfway to full hot) to get any hot water at all. Take it too far toward “H”, and the hot water goes away. The hot water took 6 minutes to arrive the first time, then 3 to 4 once we learned the proper technique. C’est la vie. - Loud HVAC. We noticed this in both rooms. The window units are quite old, but at least they are controlled from a wall-mounted thermostat. These are also motion-controlled, which means your room is hot when you first arrive. Cooling takes 5-10 minutes. The fan in both rooms was very loud, and the unit in the second room also made a hissing sound, as if refrigerant was escaping or there was some sort of air leak. We didn’t smell any refrigerant, but the noise was quite bothersome. Thank goodness for Anker SoundCore noise-blanking earbuds. - Inoperative Refrigerator. We didn’t try the mini fridge in the first room, as we were not in it long enough to fully unpack. The unit in the second room would barely cool from ambient temperature no matter what the dial was set to. The unit is in an enclosure, so I tried the cruise ship trick of propping the enclosure door open to increase airflow to the unit in hopes of better cooli

The hotel was outstanding. And even though I had to make extreme changes due to weather, the hotel was gracious and able to accommodate all of the changes that were needed to make my trip outstanding. I would highly recommend staying here in the future.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Clean and convenient. The staff is friendly, understanding, and accommodating. I had to make adjustments during my stay and the staff and GM were understanding and willing to assist. I will be booking soon and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Initial impression was fine. Our room had not been vacuumed, but no big deal. Breakfast was pitiful with the only palatable item being a bagel. After checking out, the hotel called to ask if we "accidentally took a comforter" with us. The morning we checked out, my son mentioned that the blanket on the bed was very thin. He never mentioned it prior. Come to find out, the bed never had a comforter. When I explained that on the phone call, they said ok. I arrived home to find an $80 charge on my credit card. I immediately called the hotel and was called a liar by the general manager, that there was no way housekeeping forgot to put a comforter on the bed and that it would have obvious because they are so fluffy. Instead of accepting that they made a mistake, I was called a liar and a thief. I am disputing the charge on my credit card and have filed a complaint with Marriott corporate.

We spent 4 nights here. The staff were excellent and accommodating. Rooms were pleasant, clean, with new towels, & brand new hairdryer. Breakfast is continental. There was someone at the front desk at all hours to assist. I would stay here again!

Overall experience was decent. However shower drain would drain very slow, ran out of toilet paper and couldn’t get a refill. Lastly, kitchen lady denied bagels during breakfast stating that she didn’t have more left, and I could see a lot inside the fridge.

Worst experience ever. And I have stayed at plenty of holiday inn expresses due to my job. This trip was for leisure and the staff was rude all of the way around. The only one who was actually pleasant was the manager that checked us in. We immediately noticed that our room was not cooling down and notified the manager, he asked us to wait 10 minutes. It was still not cooling so we just decided to go ahead and go to the beach and go enjoy our vacation to give it a chance. When we got back, it was still so hot in the room. I notified the girl at the front desk, and she said it was motion sensored AC and it’s only on when there’s motion in the room. I asked her what happens when we’re sleeping, and she said it automatically comes on after 9. (Mind you, it’s 10:55) when I showed her the time, she rolled her eyes and grabbed her things and began walking to our room. We were on the first floor. She said to wait 10 minutes and if nothing is changing, she will change our room. So nothing happens, and we decide to change rooms and she tells us that there are no more double beds available and that she would have to move us to a king bed. I didn’t like this at all (we were losing a bed) but we had no choice. She said that they were out of key cards, so I had to give her the one that was on me. And when I asked her how to get back in the other one to get the rest of my things, she slammed down her hands and asked for the other key card back and then slammed the card on the card reader and slammed it back on the counter. And didn’t say a word. NOT TO MENTION, the next day, I had to check in and out because the second night was a rewards stay. The lady checking in was going to make us change rooms again and was pretty rude about it as well. I told her I was not moving. we only had 2 towels in our room they moved us too and I called the front desk to ask if they would bring us more, they argued that I would have to come get them. I asked them if they could leave them at the door and she just hung up on me. At breakfast, We had trouble with the pancake machine and the woman in charge of breakfast was rude too. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, and will never go back. Manager only offered points as an apology which we should have gotten refunded for our entire stay due to the unprofessionalism that was shown.

The beds/bath were not clean. The manager at the front desk was rude and condescending. They didn’t replace blown light bulbs in the room so we had a three day stay in a half lit room. Choose wisely!!

To begin, there were no cups in the bathroom along with with no pen or paper available. This was not a deal breaker, but when we requested these items they were never brought to our room. The next day, we left for the day and the towels were replaced, but the beds were not made. When we asked why this was not done, the housekeeper claimed that our granddaughter left items on the bed so she could not move them. After we confirmed that there were no items on the bed, the housekeeper then stated that my wife told them specifically not to make the beds when we were not even at the hotel. Their final excuse was that our granddaughter had put the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Instead of consulting myself or my wife, they gave a lecture to our granddaughter about how to use the "do not disturb" sign. Even if this were true, the housekeeper could have consulted my wife or myself rather than our 13 year old granddaughter about this matter. Along with this, there were two breakfast trays that were not removed from our room and the trash was not taken out, both of which needed to be done. As if this wasn't bad enough, our hot water did not work at all for the duration of our stay. We requested a new room, and they insisted that they would have the hot water fixed. When the maintenance man did show up, he changed the valve in the shower that did improve the shower, but there was never hot water in the sink. Finally, the breakfast bar was questionable. I will say that it was exactly what the website described, but the food was not quality at all. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone.

Excellent staff, very clean, great accommodations. Breakfast was a full breakfast with options. Highly recommend this location. It isn't a 5 star hotel but it is 5 stars for a homey, comfortable stay.

The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The hotel was Very clean. However the breakfast was lacking help, not good for business. Otherwise, I would have rated the hotel 5 stars, I have ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room was very nice and the hospitality was the absolute best. Definitely recommend this hotel. Breakfast was sooo good. The location is a good spot to adventure around in any direction. Totally book a room

It was a great fun experience and I would definitely recommend this holiday Inn express there are so helpful and kind to everyone especially the guests The only thing that could be a better is a pool indoor swimming in winter and maybe in fall and in spring it boring to just sit there so why not swimming indoor I think a lot of people would like that especially in winter and if think shut down I think you guys should really do that

Very nice room AGAIN. Exceptional guest service and breakfast ladies are lovely. Highly recommend as govt/military and it’s my 2nd time staying. Thank you for a wonderful visit. I’ll be back again next time with my husband.
