Brit Hotel Confort Gien

We were in this hotel through our insurance because we had an accident in the evening. We warmly thank the staff of the establishment who provided us with a clean and comfortable family room. When we were leaving the next day, a member of staff even helped us carry our numerous bags back and forth. We were even served a snack while waiting for the loaner car. Despite our mishap, we will remember the thoughtfulness and kindness of the staff of this hotel.

The reservation request via email didn't work despite a response from Sanotel. After we had chosen our room, nothing more came, and when we got there we were given neither a room nor help in finding a replacement. In contrast to the Ibis Styles, which was also fully booked, but the nice lady at reception kept on the phone until she found something for us. Bravo Ibis Styles - Booh on Sanotel!

Maybe add a refrigerator to store fresh water during periods of extreme heat. Otherwise, the pleasant welcome, the staff too. Breakfast OK. And easily accessible private parking.

Perfect hotel. Concerning cleanliness, no problem for the linen but the pillows were impregnated with an unpleasant smell.

here is a hotel whose equipment is becoming more and more outdated, clean but aging bathroom with a hot water setting which takes a long time which causes a huge loss of water, the toilet flush leaks, the windows will also need to be changed to save energy and reduce external noise. Otherwise the bedding is good and the room is poorly soundproofed (noise from the elevator of customers in the corridor etc...) As for breakfast even if the coffee is excellent a croissant and a piece of bread is not enough. Without asking much more given the price, a slice of ham and a hard-boiled egg would be welcome for some. Also the obligation to come to the hotel to collect the room card without being able to arrive during the night with a code safe system caused us to waste time in our day's organization.

Pleasant stay but not to die for either..

Negatives: decor to be redone. Bathroom....no mixer tap and little pressure. No hook for the shower Positives: secure parking. Very nice home. Very spacious room. Good air conditioning. Good bedding (but 140 bed). Garden side, very quiet.

Second stay in this hotel, the first in November went well. But there, disaster! I book a room with 2 beds, I am given a room with 1 bed. I was moved to a 2-bed room, I had to ask for an extra shower sheet and go down to get it. No hand towels. No heating but reversible air conditioning, noisy. No late check out, we had to pay for an extra night so my friend could stay the day in the room while I worked. However, the hotel was far from complete! No commercial sense: when we had just paid for this extra night which we would therefore not use (and the lady knew it), she indicated that she had forgotten to count the dog supplement... so still 10 euros to pay... and finally , the coconut tree, a regular customer who squats at the entrance to the parking lot while getting the code from reception, and who therefore prevents me from entering the parking lot, forcing me to wait on the busy street , therefore blocking traffic, then when entering the lobby of the hotel he pushes me to get in before me (pretending that he wanted to hold the door for me...). When I get angry he calls me sick and crazy, and despite everything the lady at reception defends him. One thing is certain, they are not ready to see me again...

Clean, comfortable room, pleasant air conditioning, beautiful view of the Loire. A small remark: the pillows are too soft. Otherwise very good, parking in the hotel is secure. Very good address.
