Haast River Motels & Holiday Park Reviews

Staff is friendly rooms are clean, however the rooms are quite humid when we were there. It was a little warm with no AC or fan. We woke up with all the windows having water on them on the inside, very humid. 

Good Good, the owner was friendly and the accommodation was clean and I liked it.

After arriving, because the water pump of the hotel we booked was being repaired, the boss contacted another nearby hotel in advance for the day's travelers. The room was very good and it was a business hotel. It was upgraded🌝

A nice clean property with friendly staff. The room was basic with few amenities but you had full use of a camp kitchen which had everything you could need. There was also a communal games and tv lounge you had full use of.

One night stay driving from Franz Joseph to Queenstown. Room was clean and quiet. Restaurants were close. Various recreational activities nearby that we did not take advantage of.

We had an upstairs unit with a very nice view. We arrived in a downpour and it was lovely to sit inside, be dry and watch the rain. All the camp sites filled up and lots of people were enjoying the shared inside spaces. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very well run establishment.

Our room was very well equipped and comfortable. The location was perfect for the walks that we wanted to undertake locally.

Haast Holiday Park was real nice! Our apt had everything we needed. The bugs got us tho so use your insect repellent! We so enjoyed the area!

Great property and great location. Had everything you could want. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was great and had laundry facilities. Would definitely recommend it.

Unit excellent, clean and suitable. Reception great. Garden and surrounds a little messy, perhaps a work in progress. I will definitely stay there again.

We had a 1 night stopover. It certainly met our needs but was nothing special.

Well set up, great location and friendly staff. Suited us perfectly as a family of 5 for an overnight stop on our way through Haast. Great games room, huge communal kitchen space and lovely people!
