Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hamamatsu
"The hotel is surprisingly spacious and the breakfast is really good. The location is also very convenient."
Okura Act City Hotel Hamamatsu
"Cool hotel in Hamamatsu, music hotel, delicious breakfasts. Lots of restaurants. Large, stylish rooms with a view of the entire city. I strongly recommend. Wi-Fi is good."
EN Hotel Hamamatsu
"Staff were helpful in moving me to another room, because of the lack of aircon. But late in the evening I soon realised my bed headboard was connected to the lift shaft next door, due to the constant metallic scraping. Turning on the aircon full blast covered up the sound but I couldn’t get over the fact my sleeping head was quite near an imagined 100ft drop, being that I was on floor 9. Did I mention the Shinkansen’s blasting past like rocket ships below, a few times an hour. :-)"
Hotel Sorriso Hamamatsu
"Very near to station just 1 minute"
Hotel Sui Hamamatsu by Abest
"It's a bit of a walk from the JR station, but it's close to the restaurant district, so it might be convenient to check in after drinking. It's very clean and has plenty of amenities. If I were to be greedy, I'd say the prices are a little on the high side, but the breakfast has a good selection and overall it's a very good hotel."
Kajimachinoyu Spa Solani
"I was on my way home Osaka from Tokyo in my newly purchased car, so I took a rest at night threre. The room was neat and tidy. I fell sound sleep. Thank you very much."
Ana Crowne Plaza Hamamatsu
"The hotel was conveniently located near the station, but the water facilities were a little old and the water was noisy."
Hotel Concorde Hamamatsu
"I was pleased to find a room away from the elevator, as I had hoped. It was also on the south side, so the location was excellent with a view of Hamamatsu Castle. (It's especially beautiful at night, when it's lit up.)"
Hamamatsu Marriott Hotel
"I had a comfortable stay. However, when I entered my room after checking in, I found the previous guest's suitcase still there at the entrance. I called and they came to pick it up, but they just quickly took the suitcase. It wasn't a very pleasant experience."

Hotel Listel Hamanako
"This is a low-rise hotel on the shores of Lake Hamana. The exterior looks old, but the rooms have been renovated and are beautiful. The room was Japanese modern, so I was able to relax on the Ryukyu tatami mats. I checked in late in the evening, so it was pitch black outside, and in the morning I was able to see the lake view from the window with plenty of sunlight. The hot springs were smooth because there were several washing areas, and they were cleaned well. You could see Lake Hamana from the open-air bath. Dinner was a buffet. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with the lights turned down a little, so I was able to eat quietly and calmly. I was very satisfied with the food, including eel and Hamamatsu gyoza. The wheat fatty rice for breakfast was delicious and I had seconds. I stayed on a weekday on Friday, and there were many families, so I thought the area around Lake Hamana was safe."
Hamanako Bentenjima Resort the Ocean
"The hotel is in a wonderful location. The only downside is the overpass outside the Tori Gate. Dinner was delicious and varied. Gyoza, eel, lots of fish. Breakfast was simpler. Lots of transit tourists from China. Bicycles are available for rent."
Hotel Harvest Hamanako
"To be honest, it felt a bit worn out. However, the view of Lake Okuhama is nice, there's a large public bath, the rooms are spacious, and for 14,000 yen for a lakefront Japanese-Western style room with breakfast for one night for single occupancy, I thought it was a reasonable price. The poor service from the staff that was mentioned in past reviews seems to have improved, and I didn't have any particular problems. I had a fancy lunch, so I didn't think I could finish a course dinner at the hotel restaurant, and I didn't include dinner in my reservation, but there was a vending machine corner in the building with snacks and instant noodles, which I used conveniently. By the way, there are no convenience stores nearby. The breakfast seemed to have been recently renovated and was at the level of a city hotel. However, it was disappointing that the only dish available was French toast, despite it being called a "live kitchen." A normal live kitchen would have a lineup of omelets, fried eggs, and eggs Benedict, right? Also...the grout between the floor tiles in the bathroom in my room was covered in mold. I used the public bath, so I didn't mind the bathroom in my room, but it was still a bit too unsanitary. Since most guests use the public bath, the cleaning of the in-room baths might be a bit haphazard. While there were a few drawbacks, the great view more than made up for it, hence the 3-star rating."
Grand Mercure Lake Hamana Resort & Spa
"Great facilities with hot spring, comic books reading zone and complimentary alcohol drinks& snacks in happy hour. Sadly the receptionist at front desk was a bit cold."
Hotel Route-Inn Hamamatsu Eki Higashi
"The access from the station was good too."
Hamanako Lakeside Plaza
"We stayed here as a family. The check-in process was clear and the explanation of the facilities was thorough. The view from the window was excellent, as it faces Lake Hamana. For dinner, we ate at the nearby Angura restaurant, and the food was delicious; we would definitely like to stay there again."
Hotel Route-Inn Hamamatsu Nishi Inter
"Although it is artificial, there is a hot spring, which I used that day and the next morning. It was nice that the amenities were also installed. I still want to use it."
Hotel Ascent Hamamatsu
"There was no information about amenities. The room was clean and the reception staff were helpful."
Toyoko Inn Hamamatsu Eki Kita Guchi
"It is a 5-6 minute walk from the north exit of Hamamatsu Station. There are restaurants and convenience stores in the surrounding area, making it very convenient. Breakfast is served buffet style with a rich menu."
Kuretake-Inn Central Hamamatsu
"Central biz district n near to food alley.. parking was not free 800y for overnight...good rest stop...near free suzuki n airbase museum... also not far from castle park."
HOTEL LiVEMAX BUDGET Hamamatsu-Ekimae
"a room is clean, but the cigaratte is very smelly."
Hotel Wellseason Hamanako
"The hotel's location is super convenient, and the hot spring facilities are excellent. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious food. The complimentary amusement park tickets were a thoughtful touch. The staff were all very polite and enthusiastic."
HOTEL MEIJIYA
"I had a very pleasant stay. My room was upgraded, and since they were also hosting a group, they informed me of the available breakfast times in advance. I also used the bath on the top floor twice, once in the evening and once in the morning. Everything I needed was there, and the timing was perfect, so I had it all to myself. The men's and women's baths are switched, and shampoo and other amenities are replaced at the same time. This is the first time I've seen such a thoughtful hotel. The women's bath has an electronic lock, which is another great feature. Breakfast is a set menu rather than a buffet, and I think preparing enough for each person reduces food waste, which I preferred. When I requested a shuttle to Hamamatsu Station in the morning, the driver asked whether I wanted the north or south exit, and he took me to the south exit, which is close to the Shinkansen ticket gates. It's a little far from the station, so it might be difficult with a large suitcase, but the comfortable stay more than made up for it."
Wan Wan Paradise Hamanako
"The hotel welcomes many guests with furry pets—petting them is a bonus. It's a charming hotel in a traditional Japanese style. I thoroughly unwinded in the onsen in the evening."
Sun Royal Hotel Hamanako
"The open-air bath was very good"
