"Amenity is placed next to the front desk and you can take it to your room as needed. I feel like that's the best thing to do in this day and age.
Breakfast is delicious no matter what you eat. Personally, I recommend the freshly baked bread. I had a well-balanced breakfast.
There's a convenience store right in front of it, and it's about a 5-minute walk from Hamamatsu Station, so it's great to have a hotel right next to the station if you want to eat or drink."
"We were assigned an older room that was in dire need of an upgrade. The peeling wallpaper, fraying tatami mat, and sinking mattress made for an uncomfortable stay.
The breakfast was decent, but if you're staying for a few days, I suggest rotating your choices, as the offerings remained practically the same throughout our three-day stay.
The happy hour at the lounge was crowded, yet it featured a good selection of alcohol, which was a nice perk. However, there isn’t much to explore in the vicinity of the hotel unless you are driving.
For a more enjoyable experience, try booking one of the newly renovated rooms. Otherwise, it might be better to seek accommodation in a more centralized location."

Great
GGuest UserI loved this place - directly across the street from May One, Entetsu, Act City, and the station, the location was great, and the service and facilities were impeccable for the price. Breakfast was simple but filling and healthy, they have an on-site public bath (small, but nice), and nice lounges to hang out in, I just very much enjoyed my 2-night stay. I will stay here again. I met some local friends and told them that they should recommend it to friends/family who might visit.
YYUKIAlthough the room was small, I thought it was enough. I can hear the noise from the next room directly, so it may not be suitable for people who don't like it. I could tolerate it. I can also hear coughing and snoring.
PPapayabananaHotel provided us good service and free drinks in the lobby. Free drinks included soda water, coke, lemon tea and coffee. So sweet to have all of these. The receptionist was very helpful.
MmyratangLocation is good, it’s close to the eki. Breakfast is included. Car park in the hotel is first come, first serve, may need to go to other car parks arranged by the hotel.
Ttraveler KHClose to the train station, although it has a bit of history. But the room is large, comfortable and hygienic. It is well-equipped, and the most outstanding thing is the large window in the room. The scenery is comparable to the sightseeing bay in a big city. You can see the entire Hamamatsu City in the distance. From sunrise to sunset, it is very gorgeous.
GGuest UserThe seasoning of the meal is small 々 salty. Even though it's a good dish. It was because there was a Chinese group that upgraded the room again. The room was very good. However, I didn't want to eat together, so I want you to miss the time. It's noisy, I put standing food and drinks in the water bottle, and the tongs are messy ...
GGuest UserIt's an old-fashioned hotel. It has basic facilities and toiletries. You can get the makeup remover and skincare products at the front desk. It's quite convenient. The breakfast is also quite rich. There are staple foods and fruits.
The air conditioner is average. You can't choose the temperature. There are only a few gears. It's a bit hot when you turn it off, and a bit cold when you choose the weak mode.
The toilet is old-fashioned, but it's OK to use.
There is no laundry room, which is a bit inconvenient.
YYingyingThe hotel room was a lot smaller than I expected. It’s possibly because of the difference in photos online and the actual room in person. The stay was ok. I was only at the hotel for sleep or stopping by to drop something off. The location is extremely good since it’s right by the station. I would give full marks in that. If you’re not staying at the hotel for long, I recommend it.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself was good. The included breakfast was surprisingly awesome! we loved it. The only thing I would say is that the water in the shower is WAAAY too hot... I mean it's dangerously hot to the point you can actually burn yourself. I recommend starting with cold and then warming it up slowly to avoid injury, or hopefully the hotel can set a limit for the temperature that is more reasonable.
GGargoyleumEverything was actually really good, but this hotel was so old it couldn’t feel comfortable or clean despite best efforts.
Location was great - 2 min walk from Hamamatsu Station. Staff was kind and let us check in just slightly before 3pm.
Amenities were super for what you pay. Free evening curry, 1 draft beer and decent breakfast spread.
Big letdown was the room - peeling wallpaper, stained carpets, no aircon (only heater), mold in bathroom crevices of vent. I think housekeeping is probably good and the room is fundamentally well-cleaned, but the old infrastructure just makes everything feel dingy.
I feel bad as I feel the hotel is trying its best, but despite the amenities mentioned, I will never stay at this hotel again.
The average price for hotels in Hamamatsu is US$168 on weekdays, and US$194 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
