Hyatt House Herndon/Reston Reviews

Hyatt House is typically my go to hotel. We were very unpleasantly surprised when we got to the room and saw we were put in a room that was not the room we reserved. You could tell someone must have lived in this room awhile as it was very dirty. The kitchen had broken cabinets and they had trash shoved under them, the walls had something that looked like poop all over it and the bathroom tub leaked the entire stay which was more then annoying. The next morning we went to the free breakfast and while I was in there making a waffle an employee came out turned off all the lights and locked me in the food area. She did not let me continue to get the food i was getting and instead asked me to leave and then invited all of the housekeeping staff in so they could eat. This was a waste of money and a terrible stay. NEVER again would I stay here

Great stay. They have maximized their space in the breakfast area to include a bar and a shelf of children’s games and a business area. The only downside at breakfast was there was no syrup except for sugar-free.

Good section at breakfast time...love the friendly staff...house keeping is very good...can't complain

The guy at the front was the greatest (one from Miami) Sorry i can't remember his name Hotel was very clean and inviting Close to everything but out of the traffic area's Will definitely return

Bartender was lovely, desk staff was helpful but not on the same page with each other. Area is very quiet and seems safe, very close to public transit. Room was clean and comfortable

I walked into my room and immediately realized it was not the room seen on the ad. When I told the staff it was not the room, they said "Orbitz misrepresented the room because they (Hyatt) rent it as a one bedroom". I was charged $140 additional dollars for the room i thought i originally thought was my room.

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice clean room. Well-equipped kitchen. Excellent wi-fi. The only downer was terrible noise from the road work at night.

Very good amenities, ask for any of janitorial stuff and they will provide. Good breakfast. everything was available in our room (with a side kitchen) for our 2 weeks stay. Highly recommend

We had a very, very nice stay. It was so peaceful and the staff were friendly.

No ice machines and the ice maker in the freezer didn’t work. Kitchen smelled moldy. Signs said bar open and complementary snacks 4-6. Not offered at all. Phone didn’t work- couldn’t hear the front desk.

Waiting in front of the front desk for 45 minutes, on one to talk to, very noisy lobby, can’t check in after a long drive, terrible, never again

Enjoyed our stay very much would definitely come again. Like the bar and coffee anytime, loved our room. Very quiet and comfortable.

Very nice room, facility is good, and breakfast is good. Very clean and well maintained

Antonio at the desk was awesome. He alwways made us feel welcome and was Always willing to help
