suitable for backpackers.room space is compact. reception helpful and friendly. locating establishment can be a challenge.

It wasn't like on the picture in trip.com. it wrote hostel is 13 floor so I going up going around to find the hostel but there is no carnation hostel there. and i go down and 3 times couldn't find the hostel. Chacking if Im in wrong building. Asked the staff on 13 floor she said not this place. At last I call the hostel and staff said actually you need to check in at 7th floor. Women who is check in counter said now you can go up 13 floor my staff is waiting for you. So I go up 13 floor again but the staff who said the hostel is not here were the staff of the hostel carnation. It was different name. And different place seeing on the picture in trip.com.

Cheap and good value for money, if you want somewhere to sleep. Biggest drawback was the toilet was in the room next to the beds, so little privacy. Also headroom limited on the beds. Internet was a bit patchy. The receptionist was very helpful/friendly. I also got on the booking e-mail that I had to send in my Photo ID 4 days before checking in. I did not do this but the receptionist was not too strict about this.

It is really dirty, they do not change be sheets, shared dorms with 3 levels-bunk beds made out of metal (a lot of noise). DON'T GO THERE

Got the difference bed type for this staying. Don’t stay there seriously

I cannot recommend this place. It was chaotic from the start. The first night person number one woke me up in the middle of the night, claiming I was in his bed, despite the staff showing me my designated bed. Later that night, the staff brought in person number 2, also assigned to the same bed. Although I was initially told to stay in that bed, the next day, someone else occupied the bed. The staff apologized, but it seemed insincere. Additionally, it was evident the sheets weren't washed, as my old bed still had the same unique sheets. The overall cleanliness was subpar, and while I understand the cramped space and noise are norms in Hong Kong, it could have been at least clean and with better service. There are likely better options in the same price range with improved cleanliness and service. Furthermore, the actual place didn't resemble the photos at all. Note that the Carnation Hotel is the same as the Cultural Crashpad, so it's advisable to avoid booking there as well.

hotel is located around tsim sha tsui in Indian community. sometimes it takes time to get there using elevator because building is old, elevators are slow and too many people in que usually. room was a bit small clean, there were two beds. It's a good option as for budget hotel in Hong Kong

The owner can't hold his words. After requesting a bed change in the morning and getting his approval for that, he later started an argument in the middle of the bedroom at 1am while people tried to sleep. With pointless and simply wrong arguments he explained it how it was my fault. Leaving that aside, the room is absolutely terrible and the bathroom size not even a 1m². If you are looking for a cheap backpacker accommodation in HK, I suggest you look out for other options.

The location is very convenient. The building looks old and the scaffolding looks like it is being renovated. The room has two triple beds with upper, middle and lower bunks. The quilts are neatly placed on the bed, but it doesn't feel very clean.... ..
