Reviews of Hotel Huntington Beach

Traveled with my partner and stayed at the Huntington Beach Hotel, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations – a well-deserved five-star rating! The room was meticulously clean, and the bedding was neat and fresh. The king-size bed was spacious, and the mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel is right by the beach, with a refreshing and open outdoor environment. It's just a short walk to stroll along the shore, offering excellent natural scenery. The front desk staff were very friendly, and check-in was efficient and smooth. They were also very helpful when we asked for local recommendations. All the room facilities were well-maintained, appliances worked perfectly, and everything we needed was provided. The location is superb – close to both the beach and shopping areas, making dining and getting around very convenient. It's ideal for a short beach getaway for couples, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The room is a decent size but too old, dirty, and moody. They need to remodel ASAP. Someone tried to break in at 2AM

The hotel price was decent, the area location is safe and convenient to many shops. The hotel itself was UNCLEAN. The carpets were disgusting, paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom, the pool area was obviously never cleaned. We visited the pool Sunday morning and there were no towels, and there was trash laying around. When we visited the following morning, the same trash in the same place and still no towels. The room key situation was the most inconvenient. We stayed here for the weekend due to attending a concert. I returned both nights late (11pm) while carrying my child all the way up to the room only to discover the keys stopped working. I had to replace my key basically every time I left the room. This was very inconvenient. Overall, I wouldn't really recommend this hotel for anyone unless you don't mind a cheap hotel that isn't taken well care of, but is in a good/safe location. There are better hotels, but there are also worse.

A lot of wear and tear in the room. Ceiling paint is peeling off. Bathroom is very dark and old. Pillows are very uncomfortable.

The service counter assistance is friendly. Our room's view is very nice. The location is very convenient for shopping as Costco is across the street. Next to the hotel is 24hr fitness. It is perfect to travel and exercise. The room is clean, but the shower has a little problem to figure out how to turn on hot water as there is no sign and is different from any standard shower switch.

We've stayed several times. The hotel is everything we need. Great prices.

You should think of staying here when coming to Southern California. Spacious, clean rooms, reasonable prices, close to the center, easy to get around. Worth a visit.

The rooms at Huntington Beach Hotel are clean and well-maintained. The hotel is conveniently located in a central area. The staff are polite, friendly, and consistently provide attentive service.

The room was really old and there was a strange smell in it. Cheap though Parking was also free

The location of the hotel is perfect for beach trips and freeway access to amusement parks in the area. We stayed with young children and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and the toiletries and towels were well supplied. I rated a 4 on amenities because the room had a coffee maker but no refrigerator or microwave. That made it a little challenging with the young children for snacks and drinks. The parking was convenient and easy to enter and exit the property. The indoor pool facilities were nice and accommodating with towels, a shower and restrooms that had a changing station for diapering young children. We would come back and stay again.
