Kira no Sato is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Japan, period. I’ve never stayed in a traditional Japanese style hotel but it totally blew my mind. The gardens, onsen, guest rooms, restaurants…everything’s exquisite. It is like an onsen theme park. 5-star service the minute since you got on the hotel’s shuttle bus. There’s stairways leading up to my room. Hotel staff offered to help me on their own. The room is mainly made of wood but it is kept in excellent condition. The bed is large and soft. The food beats 90% of Japanese hotels I’ve stayed in.

Fantastic resort in a forest! Every morning when you are awake, you feel the energetic from the greenery. The beautiful sounds from the fall makes lovely notes to your heart! It’s just like you are in the fairy land! The service is excellent! The food is great! You will never get bore in such beautiful place! It’s also very close to Geo park. Lots & lots to explore! You will love this resort!

Turn left at the Izu Plateau exit, and there is a hotel shuttle bus at the parking lot at the exit down the stairs. It runs every half an hour from 14:00 to 17:00. People like me who are alone can go to the private bath next to the big bath. The refrigerator in the big bath has milk and coffee in the morning, and yogurt in the evening. There is a small room inside with vending machines and coin-operated washing machines and dryers. The laundry detergent is free. Go to the lobby and ask the front desk for it. I ordered two meals, and the taste is OK for me. If you are not used to eating too Japanese dinner, you can choose barbecue and Western breakfast. The dishes will not be served quickly, so you can eat slowly. For dinner, even if you choose the same meal, there will be changes, such as a certain side dish has changed, and there are one or two more dishes. It can be said that it is very rich and you can eat very full. Overall, it is very good. You can consider this hotel when you go to see Mount Omuro and the zoo.

After the hot spring, you can also have free Yakult and popsicles. Service: Every waiter is very considerate. The grandfather at the front desk and the grandmother who makes late-night ramen speak very good English. Every waiter in the restaurant will introduce the dishes when serving; because the hotel itself is very large, a map with all hotel facilities and service usage guides will be provided when checking in.

The room was quite dark and humid. There was a musty smell. It was raining and it was a bit scary. There was no waiter to help carry the luggage all the way to the small slope. The private soup was different from the picture. It was a wooden barrel with green moss inside. The most terrifying thing was that it was not hygienic. The picture of cobwebs and dust in the bathroom is very speechless

This hotel was the biggest pitfall during the 7 days. I once suspected that the high score of 4.7 was a marketing scam. First of all, the Setsugekka in Hakone where we stayed the night before was far better than Kira no Sato in terms of cleanliness, food, and service. Not to mention the auspicious Caren where we stayed later. The bamboo flute room we booked is the most expensive room. The house is very shabby and smells musty, like paper. It feels like rain is right above your head; the food is so bad that it is hard to swallow, and there is no service, and they didn't even ask us about the meal selection. Almost all of them are Chinese. During my stay, I hardly saw a Japanese. During the National Day holiday, other Japanese or improved hot spring hotels were all occupied by Japanese. I even saw Chinese children peeing in the lobby during my stay... In short, it is as bad as it can be. This is an absolutely true evaluation and review. I hope more people will see it! I hardly took any photos because I was just cheating...

The earliest bus to Izu Kogen Station in the morning is 9:40. 10 minutes past this point, you can just catch the bus to Omuroyama, and the time connection is very good👌 The hot spring is also very comfortable. There are private and public baths. You can take the key to the private bath. There are three pools in total, no reservation is required. The public bath is quite large, and there are also several indoor and outdoor pools. It is very comfortable overall. If it is on the second floor, there is no elevator, which is quite tiring if you have heavy suitcases. There are few sockets in the room and the location is weird. But the overall service of the hotel is very good. You don't have to go out and it's very comfortable in the hotel. There is really no food around. The nearest 711 and supermarket are about 1 kilometer away, and it should be very tiring to go up and down the hill.
