This hotel is amazing. I have stayed here for years. HOWEVER, TRIP DOT COM needs to update what kind of room you are getting here. TRIP DOT COM does not know the specifics. In addition, check your BOOKING DATE. If you do a google search and log in thinking that you will be staying the same dates, TRIP DOT COM might push your search date to another day. Again, THIS HOTEL IS FAB. PERIOD. TRIP DOT COM needs some help :)

comfortable and clean rooms although the wall color and decor are heavy and dark. rooms need uplifting and brighter colors and lightings.

Bathroom walls were dirty, floor was sticky. Sheets and mattress pads were stained. The room needs to be deep cleaned. The hotel charged an additional $50 to my credit card. The view from the patio was fantastic.

Although an older property, the room I stayed
In was refurbished beautifully. Right on the ocean, the view is spectacular. It’s like you’re a part of the ocean. Great location. Great customer service. I recommend this hotel.

I love staying here. I tend to pick this place over any for Lincoln City! However I wasn’t excited for check in, it took forever and I took off to get food at the restaurant and even that was low staff and my food was cold. Went back to check in and waited another 30 minutes. Should up at 3:30 and finally got my room at 6:30. Was super disappointed on the steam room not working nor was the sauna, one of the main reason I stay here. The hottub was nice however families with kids under 6 were in the hottub, which there is a sign you have to be over 18…another thing that would be okay but the hottub is pretty small. The room was clean and quiet, which is great. Beach access is great. Fire pits are amazing. I still would stay but I would check in way earlier and not go in the hottub until after 9pm. The staff was so awesome. I appreciate the kindness.

Check in wait was over an hour, springy bed, doesn’t actually enforce adult only pool hours 9-11pm, full of kids the entire time- didn’t get to use the pool or hot tub.

I haven't been to the Surftides in over 20 years, since before the remodel. I loved the staff, the room, and the pool area! We had breakfast at the Mist Restaurant & it was also wonderful.
I did not like that ******* charged me $50 more for the room than if I had just contacted the motel directly.

It was a good escape from my home for a night. The staff were super friendly. It was nice to have vending machines nearby so we didn’t have to go anywhere. We didn’t get to try the restaurant but I hope to try it on my next stay. I absolutely loved the view from our room. Beds weren’t the comfiest for me personally but it wasn’t a big deal for me. I loved the pool area. I only wished the pool was a tad bit warmer since the hot tub is 18 and up. My toddler was freezing so we couldn’t swim long like we had hoped. I loved the direct beach access. Overall I loved our stay.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The room service restaurant was too busy to take room service the night we stayed which I found very strange but we just went elsewhere instead. Everything is a little dated and in need of maintenance. Our room made terrible noises all night long and I hardly slept. It was a weird bathroom pipe that sounded like it was constantly running and banging all night long. Wouldn’t stay again if I am being honest but it was very last minute visit so oh well. Thanks to the friendly staff. ❤️
