Avoid in July and August, impossible to sleep, use of crate balls obligatory to reduce the cries, laughter, howls, songs, doors slamming constantly in the corridors of the hotel until some of them are unsealed. between them and all this at any time of the day and especially at night, introduction of foreign people to the hotel to make a commotion, forcing us to leave without finishing our stay and of course no refund or night's stay nor parking, good advice go spend your vacation elsewhere in summer

Well the buffett, varied, there was no gel day, only shampoo and body milk and at night unbearable, the kids running, screaming, slamming doors, doing what they wanted and nobody told them anything, the good location, near the beach

I’m not hard to please with hotels, if it’s clean I’m usually happy enough but everything was wrong with this hotel. It’s stuck in an 80’s time warp and the noise made by crowds of young ones from 10pm to 6am was relentless. They then came alive again about 3 o’clock when they completely took over the family/children’s pool area, meaning young children had to leave. There didn’t appear to be any cleaning around the pool area, there were used plasters stuck to the pool surround for the whole of my stay and on one occasion I had to throw an empty condom wrapper in the bin. Our view from the (tiniest ever) balcony was a concrete wall, there were 2 white plastic chairs, no table. The room was basic and mostly clean but with mould on the shower head. Maids came every day and made the bed but didn’t change the sheets which was something I’d never known before. Food was ok, very repetitive and the usual queues and endurance tests to get the popular stuff. I don’t know how the hotel has achieved a 4 star rating, it’s barely a 3 star. I would not stay again! Please avoid if you have a family with you or enjoy sleeping.

Nice hotel great location near bars and restaurants. Food was amazing fresh and tasty with lots of variety. Small pool but only 10 mins from beach. Rooms clean plenty of room we had a twin and added a bed for a third. Balcony small but ample overlooking the main road.

Not a family hotel. Booked 7 nights all inclusive for family of 5, had 2 pool view rooms luckily on same floor. Rooms was clean and basic. First night we had loud music and banging shouting from 4pm and groups in and out of rooms slamming doors smoking and partying in corridors nearly 1am it calmed down but strikes again at 4.30am right up until 7.30am. My children had very little sleep my phone didn’t work to ring reception I would have to walk down past the partying groups to get security which did not help! This went on my entire time. I spoke to the owner on last night and his attitude was make an insurance claim!! All inclusive is 8/10am breakfast 1/3 lunch and 7/9.30 dinner, even though hotel is terrible the food really wasn’t bad just busy. Never found snack bar and in evenings was only all inclusive until 22.30pm even though it stayed 11pm! They have 2 pools and a splash pool. Adult pool is one and other is family pool next to splash slides. All the groups woukd come in to family pool and be rough (bombing diving throwing balls) meaning families with children would get out. Smoke anywhere they like. They need to decide if they want it as a party hotel or family hotel! 3 songs gif kids disco in evening and only in house entertain after and it’s not the best! Would avoid this hotel. Never again

The beds felt like sleeping on sacks of potatoes, wanna go out for a smoke on ur balcony? There’s a Berlin rave party to your left, and a French Revolution occurring on ur right as the balconies are pretty much all connected very closely. Filled with drunk youth and get no sleep. Only thing nice here was the pool and the cheap drinks. Proper chaos for dinner, lunch and breakfast service, it’s like the frontlines of a barbarian horde of savages trying to get a chocolate croissant and eggs. Shocking place

Horrible, we couldn’t enter our rooms until 2:30pm if we came at 2:28 they wouldn’t give us the keys. When we finally got the keys and entered our room the horrible stink hit us right in. We told them about the smell and they thought it was the floor not being cleaned well, they cleaned it barely and the smell was still there. We couldn’t figure out where the smell was coming from, we came to idea to smell the beds as if it was very strong when we were lying on them. We turned the beds upside down and we saw that they are moldy. We told the stuff about it they were very rude and they said they couldn’t smell anything, even when they saw the mold. Stuff VERY VERY rude, the cleaning lady stole my shirt, the shirt was literally over the bathtub and it was not being mixed with towels. When we realized the shirt was missing we went to reception and they told us to come the other day early in the morning when the manager of the cleaning ladies was there so she can tell me about it. We came the next morning the main (manager) cleaning lady was very rude about it as well, she was so frustrated that i just asked whats up with my shirt, they told us to come in the night to see if its back from the cleaning. We went to the reception at night, there was short hair blonde woman she was the rudest of them all, she didn’t let us even talk or say anything she was just rolling her eyes at us and cussing us in spanish, she was making some faces and literally throwing her hands in our faces and said she can’t do anything about it and she told us to come next morning again because “it needs 24hrs to wash”. We came the next morning and they told us that they didn’t find anything and again to come the next day because of the washing cycle. In the end i never got my shirt back. The cleaning lady also entered our room whenever she wanted. The pool opens at 9am not 8am like it says on the door, the pools was never cleaned for these days that we stayed in, cold water, the staircase barely functional. Kitchen, people fighting for the croissants in the morning and coffee machines. Same food every day, overall i would give it 4/10. Now about the room… i don’t even know where to start. Bathroom crazy how dirty it is, the taps are disgustingly dirty and moldy, the shower window as well, mirrors, shower head broken… The curtains are burned on some places because of the cigarettes, bed sheets yellow and dirty, cover sheets also burned from the cigarettes. Balcony dirty, only one chair, the hard plastic that’s supposed to be “balcony” is literally cracked up, there is grass growing out of the edges of the balcony, moldy ceilings, no light on the ceilings just lamp on the table and two above the bed. Walls are dirty , paper thin u could hear everything that others are talking. For a 4 star hotel i would give this 2.

I would like to start by saying before we went to this hotel i read the reviews and was open to maybe it was just people being fussy. Well no, the property is tired the rooms I stayed in superior deluxe was OK but only one person can sit on balcony as only one chair will fit on balcony. The pool area is very tired could do with renovating. We went all inclusive which basically doesn't exist the dining hall was very chaotic very untidy dirty plates etc left on most tables. The food was average but the dining experience was less than average. No way is it 4 star its struggling to be a 3 star.the location of the hotel is brilliant.

It is a very old style hotel with a misleading information about the facilities. First of all, Gran Don Juan Hotel it is not a family hotel, it is a place where all youngster and single people are going there to get drunk, make noise and not sleeping until early in the morning. Not nice if you go with your kids, so bear in mind because it is impossible to get a good night sleep!! Secondly, it is very hard to get in touch with the reception over their phone line. You can call as much as you like and nobody is answering. I found it a bit disappointing because if I had a request I had to go all the way to reception to discuss it. And last thing I would like to mention is; the repetitive food that was offered in the menu. No diversification and the quality of food is way below according to the 4stars hotel. In my conclusion, I believe this Hotel should be rated at a maximum of 2 to 3 stars. There is definitely a lot to improve and needs a full refurbishing to achieve the 4 stars level hotel.

Where to begin! This hotel is probably the worst I’ve stayed in… EVER. It’s tired, pokey rooms are dirty. The staff are rude and incompetent. The food is repetitive and cold. It’s literally has hordes of teens drunk and running riot through the corridors day and night! If you’re a family or older avoid at all costs. Poor all inclusive set up! No kettle in the room or towels for pool provided. The level of noise is something else. The walls of the rooms are paper thin. Pool areas are very dirty again with teens everywhere shouting, swearing and just generally rude. Went with a group of friends but will never go to this resort again!!

Very rude unhelpful staff...whole place is dirty and wants refurb. Noisy day and night with teenagers who had NO respect for others. Food was just ok and snacks were meal leftovers, all inclusive drinks very limited and only one person could get there own drink, when asked for 2 for my sister got shouted at which was I front of others. No help to say what where so walked around aimlessly especially on arrival. No ice cream unless paid for ..... all 12 of us encountered same experience...... never again. Beds round pool so uncomfortable and many broken... no one around to keep youths in check which there were loads due to a football tournament. Worst place I have ever stayed

We stayed in this hotel so many times , we've always been treated super well, food is good, prices are affordable, few minutes walk from the beach. We had no problems or whatsoever, staff always been helpfull. Swimming poll well equipped. Will be back soon.

Great hotel stayed here with friends for our girls holiday we stayed all inclusive for food and drinks was great and plenty of choice. Fab location, hotel so good booked it again for next year. Theres a kids pool area round other side of hotel so good for family’s couples and friends,
