I stayed here 3 weeks ago and wasn’t charged parking. This trip I was charged $15 to park for 12 hours. The WiFi didn’t work, the sheets

The property is clean but the ice machine was not working on my floor, only one elevator was working and we had an emergency evacuation but no one informed us about what was happening and when we could return to our rooms. It seemed as if the staff was confused and didn’t know what was happening. The hotel was convenient but not sure if I would stay here again.

Quiet rooms, large parking lot, great view from the restaurant at the top, friendly staff. What I didn't like so much was that there was only one elevator working.

This experience has been a very BAD joke played on me by Holiday Inn Long Beach. IT began with Yvette the staff supervisor who seriously needs lessons in customer service. I was told the incorrect time for the opening of the restaurant@530p. I heard her tell the guest ahead of me it opened at 500p. I later Confirmed the time calling the restaurant . It was 500p. Needless to say Yvette finalized her botched checkin by assigning me a room directly in front of the elevator, room 515. I went back downstairs and requested a better room with a different associate. Upon arriving at the restaurant there was no host at the podium. I noticed a server standing inside and so we made eye contact. He looked at me as if to ask what do you want.I jestered and walked towards him saying may I come in and he said yes. I placed my order and he left. He brought me glass of water. Five minutes later a cup of coffee. Usually servers ask when do you want coffee but he did not. Ten minutes later I received salad and the entree at the same time. Both items were placed on the edge of the table. I ate the salad first . Halfway finished I touched the plate and it was 🔥. Hot! Several minutes passed when he came by my table. Having left no spoon for me to have my soup I ask for a to go carton. He came back with the container and left. Came again to ask if I wanted dessert. I said no ,ask for the check, and to PLEASE bring me a plastic spoon for the soup!!! Diasterous indeed.

Although the airport was close, the hotel is very aged. There was no ice in the top 6 floors, the bathtub/shower was stopped up. We did park our vehicle next door while we were traveling so that made it easier. The restaurant was closed our first night, which was disappointing. It was very close to the airport and we took the shuttle, so that was convenient.

An excellent stay if you need to be need LGB. A short 5 min shuttle is included which is lovely. Rooms are spacious and seem modern enough. Clean, comfortable and decent for a short layover stay!

Shuttle for pick up from Long Beach airport was not available, I was not informed about this as I had previously asked to schedule a pick up time. Upon checking in we where not given our breakfast vouchers we paid for nor was their any info in the room stating where the Resturant was located. It’s a nice hotel; but we choose this particular hotel because of the airport shuttle service. Disappointed.

The only complaint we had the noise. We informed at check in that the restaurant was closed for a private event that evening. We were originally placed on the 10th floor, but the music from the party was absurdly loud 2 floors down in our room. The front desk was was wonderful and able to re-room us into a lower floor immediately (3rd). You could still hear the music in the elevator and area, but definitely not on the room. Otherwise, the stay was enjoyable. After a long day of flight delays, it was nice to have a shuttle to and from the airport, a clean room close and great staff.

The hallways on the floors I walked around while I was searching for their one and only one Ice Machine felt like furnaces. Every floor was marked that there was an ice machine, after searching on three floors I finally went to the front desk and asked. I was told it was on the 5th floor. There was no exhaust fan for the heat pouring out of this machine. I felt like I was in a sauna as I got a bucket of ice.

Pros: comfy bed, close to airport, clean, good parking, nearby food choices, close to attractions. Cons: close to freeway and airport noise, no free breakfast, hotel is old, a bit difficult to access from either street (traffic).

I went to sign in for my room & was told that their computer system was down. They would Not allow check-ins. I mentioned that I only had about 3 hours to sleep until I left for my night shift job. They didn't care. Upon talking to them, there was a chance that I would not be able to check into my room before my night shift. Those few hours were the only reason I needed the room. I could tell that the front desk personnel didn't care. I mentioned that I would have to search the area for another hotel. He told me to just write my name down on a piece of paper, and he would later check whether I could cancel the reservation last minute. Luckily I was able to cancel it.
