This is the real thing. Old school charm with impeccable attention to detail & run by amazing hosts. You won’t find anything better.
Our stay here exceeded all of our expectations. The home and the surroundings are beautiful and immaculate. Each day we got a cooked to order breakfast with many choices. Comfortable Beds and rooms to sit and enjoy reading a book or playing a game. The Host and Hostess were warm and welcoming and took very good care of us while we were there.

Heyford House is a gem of a bed and breakfast! If I only considered those two terms (bed -- breakfast) the establishment would still be rated as 5-star! But this is more than "just" a bed and breakfast. My mother and I were assigned room #3, which was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, with attention to detail obvious everywhere we looked. The decor was eclectic, with a pleasing mix of old and new. This decor continued throughout the establishment. I could have easily spent days examining all of the artwork and furnishings. I looked forward to the breakfast (included) each morning. Leo, our host, provided a made-to-order breakfast in a cozy breakfast room, complete with a fire and pleasant conversation. I sampled the full English breakfast, the overnight oats, and the toasted homemade bread with jam. All selections were excellent and obviously prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It was heavenly to return in the evening and smell the bread baking, ready for the next morning's meal. The location of the Heyford House was perfect. Situated along a quiet lane adjacent to the cemetery where many of my family members were laid to rest, I felt like I had been transported to another place and time. The natural and architectural beauty within walking distance was superb. Logistically, when arranging for my stay from the US via email, Leo was attentive, responsive, and highly professional. He answered all questions thoroughly and made personal arrangements for the contingency that our flight might be delayed. Luckily, we arrived as scheduled and were able to begin our stay as planned. Heyford House was an unforgettable experience that I hope to enjoy again one day soon!

Lovely large room with view over a beautiful garden. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice . Love the house and surrounding village . Helpful host would visit again when in the area . Didn’t rate the food down the road at the bell and very little choice on the menu .

We had a great time at this luxurious B&B. Leo was an excellent host - chatty but not too intrusive, and his breakfasts were superb. It is very quiet and peaceful, and the gardens are stunning. The room we had (as pictured) was a great size and decorated in an eclectic style. We are looking forward to our next stay!

A beautiful house with stunning gardens in a quiet and lovely village. We had a peaceful and interesting stay. The room was generous and the bed extremely comfortable. The shower pressure was excellent and the breakfast very tasty. Would happily stay again.

THE best B&B we have had the pleasure of staying in. We only stayed the 1 night whilst visiting nearby Oxford. It is an outstanding building full of history, gorgeous gardens, beautiful location, our only regret was we didn't stay longer. Our room had a huge bed that was warm, spotlessly clean & super comfortable. Stunning view out of our window overlooking the gardens, I woke up at 4 am to open the window & shutters as the only sound you could hear was the birds outside, absolutely no road noise. Breakfast was delicious, traditional Full English cooked to perfection by the owner, he was also chatty, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, talked about the house & gardens also recommended places to eat close by - all in all a 5* stay, we will definitely be back

10/10 cannot fault our stay! From the sensational views to the beautiful home made food … essential oil bathroom products … Leo the host who is sweet and very accommodating. We really enjoyed our romantic weekend here and will be returning soon. At a loss to know how heyford can charge such reasonable prices for such high quality products/services. Even the tea choices were varied, organic and high end. Home from home. Superb rooms - very snug and warm with heating always on. Can’t fault a thing. Strongly recommend - view from our bedroom above … steeped in history and culture. Jacinta

Stayed at this beautiful retreat as a birthday getaway for my wife. Simply stunning accommodation, great views, quiet, ambient and tranquil. Lovely meal at the local pub 30 yards away, couldn't have asked for me! Perfect stop off point for Blenheim palace. Will definitely recommend

I fell in love with this house, it was outstanding both inside and outside. The original features and history of this house, just made you want to explore more. If only walls could talk. The room we stayed in was lovely and I loved the window shutters. The bed was a good size for me, but for hubby it was too short. The owner said he was getting a new bed in the future, so for taller people that will help.. The garden went on and on and was beautiful. A delicious breakfast was served each morning, with tasteful fresh ingredients. I would recommend staying here, better than any chain hotel.

Love our weekend stays at Heyford House. All four rooms have their own unique character. This was our second stay, this time over the Easter weekend. Comfortable quiet and homely environment and tasty locally sourced breakfast. Great location - easy to get to North Cotswolds and Bicester Village. Will be back.

lovely small village, heyford house is a great place to stay if you are visiting the area the host is very welcoming the bedrooms are very big and the beds very comfortable, breakfast is very nice, for dinner there is a pub (the bell) 50 yards away that i would recommend too, it was nice not having to listen to footsteps in the room above or people outside in the corridors that you get in larger hotels, stay here and relax. frank
