I stayed at Tryp Hotel for two nights with my dog.
Friendly, problem-free check-in, the room was very clean and furnished perfectly fine for the hotel category. The bed was comfortable, everything worked in the bathroom, the TV ran without any problems with great programs. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired for me - bread, rolls and other pastries, coffee, tea, milk, cocoa, juices, various types of sausage and cheese, jams, honey, etc., cereals, muesli, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, Hot dog...
The dog wasn't allowed in the direct breakfast room because it was an open buffet, but there was an adjoining room where he was allowed or, when the weather was nice, on the terrace, which is directly adjacent to the breakfast room.
There are free parking spaces directly at the hotel.
I will definitely come back when I'm in Lübeck again.

Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The carpet in the hallway of the hotel on the 2nd floor has not been vacuumed for 4 days. Because it is not cleaned daily, the tile joints look dirty. The tiles are dull from limescale. All in all, pretty run down. The breakfast was very good. Basically everything that belongs at breakfast was there. The service staff there was also very friendly. Reception very dependent on their mood on the day. The hotel is outside of Lübeck city center but is always easy to reach with 3 bus lines.

Sehr große und gepflegte Zimmer, tolle Ausstattung, mit Mikrowelle und zwei Kochplatten im Zimmer, die Lage ist etwas außerhalb (ca. 45min zu Fuß vom Zentrum) aber sehr ruhig, ein großer Pluspunkt ist der öffentliche Parkplatz direkt gegenüber.

Our room was OK with air conditioning available only by the open windows. The windows need to be closed at night so the traffic was not heard. The evening meal was a buffet and nice too it was. The chef made veggie meals for the vegetarians and they each got a mountain of mild curried chickpeas and other stuff, good show, they loved it but couldn’t eat it all. Dessert was self service cold rice pudding with an assortment of berries, that the gannets who hurried their main meal got, leaving slightly tinted rice, not the hotels fault of course. Breakfast was great.

Very good housekeeper kumar . Very friendly and Clean well. The Hotel is good and the breakfast is very good with nice stuff Madame Angel. Thanks a lot. Pool area too small. Metro is near. Restaurant also

The hotel is completely overpriced for the current price range of €120 per night without breakfast. I was looking for a hotel where I could take our little dog with me because I wanted to visit my wife and daughter who were taking a spa trea**ent. The location isn't that great in the middle of apar**ent blocks. But the staff were nice and the room was clean and relatively big. However, the furniture was a bit worn and scratched. The breakfast buffet was OK with all the standard items you need. Things like fish etc. weren't there. Overall it was OK, but for the money you could definitely get a bit more luxury somewhere else.
