The rooms and services all meeting expectations but given the price should be exceeding. Overall I think it is ok but would t spend the same amount of money to stay there again

Felt like a home away from home—if you were the great-grandchild of a wealthy aristocrat who owned a villa in one of the most immaculate places on earth. Grand, yes, but somehow still cozy-feeling. Staff treated us like family, service was above and beyond, location made everything easily accessible, but you won't have to go too far as you'd be content spending day after day lounging by the lake, pool, lawn, or just in the well-appointed rooms.

Overall it's very good. The train station to the top of the mountain is right at the door, and you can get a 30% discount if you give a note at the front desk.

This hotel is of old aristocratic style, located right by Lake Lugano. Its location is impeccable, and its biggest advantage lies in its design. The furnishings, gardens, and rooms are all magnificent, showing the Europeans' particularity. The only drawback is that the dining is rather average.
