The location is very good. The hotel looks like a castle. It is very beautiful, but there is no air conditioning in the hotel rooms. No air conditioning. No air conditioning. No air conditioning. No air conditioning. No air conditioning.

Great location, food and hotel. However it needs an update to get the “Grand” feeling back. Not the best insulation for sound coming from the hallway and a stairway to rooms above my room.

Rooms towards the side street are very noisy. There is a lot of traffic early in the morning. Ask for a room facing the park in front of the hotel

One of my worst experiences First impressions lasts. Unfortunately I was met by a non smiling receptionist whose name is called "Felicia" or something similar. My wife and I didn't feel welcomed by her. I got a very small room which is worn out on the 4th floor with a low cieling. My wife has fobia against small places. I went down again immediately to the receptionist and after struggling with the recpetionist "Felicia", I got a better room. She started asking me if I have moved anything in the room. I was away 5 minutes ago where we just saw the room and went down to her! By the way if you look at other reviews you will find someone else wrote about the same experience where he mentioned that she should find another job. I guess it the same receptionist which my wife and I experienced. The bed is 140 cm wide although it is a double room. It was very difficult for me and my wife to sleep in such a small bed. The TV was an old B&0 which is about 18-20 inches with only 7 Swedish channels. Again once more another disappointment. This hotel looks very nice from outside and is old fashioned but according to what you get relative to what you pay, it is not worth the money. There is tea and coffee in the lobby but the water was not hot enough. Bathroom is alo small. Towels are hanging very close to the toilet. Breakfast was okay but was lacking croissant. My wife got coffee served which was cold. I would never go there again!

Perfect location. The room was very nice. Staff at the reception effective and vast check in/out. Parking available. Great breakfast.

Really Nice breakfast! They had everything you could wish for! A guy was making eggs and pancakes for a lot of people. Although he was stressed out he was extremely kind and friendly to everybody. He even came to my table with my pancakes! Really nice they had a coffee machine with free coffe on the 3rd floor. The room was a bit small and it was quiete cold, but besides that we had a very nice stay. Very friendly staff.

This is one of those beautiful old grand hotels that they have in quite a few old European cities. Yes, the rooms are a bit small as expected , but beautifully renovated, charming, and quaint . It’s well worth a stay here.. . The hotel are so well renovated the restaurant bar staircases, and the rest with it make you feel like you’re in one of those old movies where were to stay

No 1 thing in particular. Would suggest newer /softer mattress to sleep on

Beautiful public rooms. Pleasantly decorated bedrooms but the bed was rather short for tall men!

We have stayed at “ The Grand” twice now. It is elegant and fabulous! I can’t wait to go back!
