Me and my boyfriend stayed here in Sept 2023 and we had the best time! Straight upon our arrival we were greeted and told everything we need to know about the hotel and our room, plus a bottle of wine. The staff truly are what makes this hotel, they cannot do enough for you and make you feel extremely welcome. Food is great and the cocktails at the bar were even better. Some of the best we’ve had! Our room was spotless everyday and there were plenty of sun beds to use, along with pillows and parasols which were a nice extra touch. The location is great if you want be close to the old town of Malia, the ***** and beach is a 15/20 min walk. However we mainly stayed in the old town which was beautiful and traditional. I highly recommend trying all the restaurants and bars in this area, it’s where we had our best meals. Overall thank you for a fabulous stay and treating us like family especially when it was time to leave. Highly recommend.

Kristalli is a good hotel in a great location. It's based in Malia old town which is vastly different from the new town and its bars. The old town is quaint with lots of good tavernas with 5-10 mins easy walk away. The hotel is run by one family and everyone has a role to play. On arrival we were welcomed by Katrina who showed us to our room. There was a free bottle of water and also a bottle of wine in the fridge. Very nice touch. Initially we were slightly disappointed with our room as we'd booked a superior studio and it didn't look like any of the photos on the Jet2 site. Our room was beige furnishing and not the bright ones shown in the photos. When I queried this with Katrina, she said that the furnishings had been changed. If that's the case then not sure why Jet2 still show the rooms with bright furnishings. The room was large and clean with three single beds, two of which were pushed together to make a double. There was a wardrobe with lots of storage and hanging for clothes (hangers provided). There was even one english 3 pin electric socket. The bathroom was large with a shower but no shower door so you had to be careful about using it otherwise the whole room got wet. The shower itself was powerful and there was lots of hot water. Toiletries including hand soap were provided and there was a wall mounted hairdryer in the bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with a 2 ring hot plate, toaster, kettle, bottle & tin opener. No oven. A tea towel, pan scrubber and washing up liquid was also provided. Our room had two balconies. One had a pull our drying rack and the other had two chairs and table with a view over the pool area. Towels changed every other day and bed linen changed once during the week. Bins emptied daily. We made our own beds and tidied the room each day as we don't expect the cleaning staff to do this. Not sure if they did for other people. Air conditioning was 10 euros a day and when you paid you got a remote from reception. We did ask about the safe but were told that we could pay for one but didn't really need it. We chose not to use it and our things were safe. The pool/garden area is very well maintained. Plenty of sunbeds and parasols. No need to get up early and claim your bed. Pillows for the sunbeds and pool towels were also provided. We were self catering but did have breakfast in the hotel on one day. You could choose from the menu or have the buffet breakfast for 8 Euros per person. We chose the buffet breakfast. This was excellent value for money. There were pastries, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fresh fruit, various hot options, tea, coffee, juices. We chose to eat our other meals out at local tavernas rather than in the hotel. Only because we prefer this. Most restaurants in the old town are good but we found the following exceptional and served great food; San Giorgio, Kalesma, Milos and Zorbas. This is the second year running we have visited this hotel, the place is amazing for a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable stay. Nico's and the family run a very clean and friendly place they welcomed us back with open arms it was like you come as a tourist but leave like being part of the family. The rooms are very clean and modern with a bottle of wine and water in The room on arrival, the food at the pool bar is excellent and the service is excellent. We are already booking our holiday for next year and can’t wait to see them again. If you book here you won’t be disappointed and we have stay in malia at other hotels (grim) but this place is so beautiful and has the cleanest pool around and well maintained gardens nothing is to much trouble for them and they give you the best advice on where to eat out, highly recommended.

The hotel was beautiful the room was spacious and modern with kitchenette and fridge and a balcony there was a welcome bottle of wine on arrival you need to.pay for air con and safe .food at the pool was lovely and staff where so friendly and helpful

went to crete for a summer holiday. this hotel was brilliant. the employees were so welcoming and friendly. the breakfast was just what you needed in the morning. surrounding area is perfect and easy access. the pool was very too busy and a perfect place to relax. it was a lovely base hub for our holiday

absolutely brilliant holiday, made all the better thanks to everyone at Kristalli, beautiful apartments with everything we could ask for, water & wine upon arrival, welcoming staff and fresh towels and sheets daily. Staff at pool bar are lovely and very helpful, great menu, great pool, great location! this place will always be in our hearts, thank you 10/10

Just returned from a wonderful stay here . Hotel was just perfect. Beautifully kept gardens, a lovely relaxing pool area and bar, and a well equipped studio apartment. We were located in a studio overlooking the lovely garden which was extremely quiet. The studio was dated in its furnishing but it provided everything we needed - full WiFi, AC (extra €9 a night) complimentary toiletries, safe and even towels for the pool. It’s set in a great location for exploring the old town, and Approx 15 walk to the ***** and a little further to beach. A great base for easy bus routes to other must see destinations as well. Couldn’t fault it - thanks

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were nice and were clean, someone came in every day to clean and give fresh towels etc. The pool and gardens were very well kept with plenty of sunbeds. The pool bar/restaurant offered a great selection and pretty well priced, we were happy with everything we had. Everyone who works at the hotel was friendly and helpful!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartments was spotless both inside and out . Very modern looking. The towels were changed most days. There was no mad rush in the morning for sunbeds / parasols as there plenty. The outside areas including the pool and pool bar was clean and tidy. The pool bar served amazing food and drinks, I’m missing my gyros even now. All the staff are friendly especially the lady at the pool bar who took our orders etc , unfortunately I cannot remember her name. We were a 5 minute walk to the old town which looked so nice though I didn’t get to eat there unfortunately and the main ***** was a 10-15 minute walk which wasn’t bad for us as a family. We are looking at going back as soon as we can One last thing , I would like to say thank you for our complimentary bottle of water and wine for when we arrived . It was a lovely welcome and very much needed 😀

Great place Kristali is so welcoming, very clean and well organised. The staff are so lovely, friendly, funny and professional. Plenty of space, perfect place for a very chilled holiday Lots of lovely restaurants within a few minutes walk

Absolutely outstanding 10/10 beautiful family that Can’t do enough for u seriously we couldn’t thank them enough for the welcome and the hospitality they gave us during our hols . And that’s why we wouldn’t hesitate in stay here again Apartments absolutely spotless and cleaned regularly with towel changes on request, beautiful pool and fantastic pool side bar with prices that are on par with most places in the resort of malia , pubs clubs and cocktail bars are about a ten minute walk to the ***** where u can party or chill all night long for all ages from young to older The old town is only around a 5/10 minute walk away where I highly recommend san Georgios the food is beautiful there and at a reasonable cost to, we had an absolute amazing experience here from chilling by the pool in the day and clubs and cocktails at night ( help bar on the ***** omg amazing strawberry daiquiri) … what are u waiting for get it booked Kristalli apartments and all it’s staff we thank u and hope to see u again soon Many thanks Lee & Claire

Friendly modern clean hotel apartments, great location if you want to have a relaxing holiday but not too far from the nightlife if that’s your thing, great restaurants on your door step as well as the food at Kristalli, 2 mins walk to old town tavernas, 10 minutes walk to main Malia *****/ beach, never had a problem with any noise, all staff so friendly and made you feel welcome especially the young lady behind the bar (good luck with the Duolingo), lady that cleaned our room every day was fantastic. Never had a problem with getting a sun bed went down about 10.30am always got one, all in all had a great holiday.

Clean & modern apartments with air con. Pool area and grounds are well kept with plenty of free sunbeds and umbrellas in the surrounding landscaped gardens (no need to get up early to put your towels down!) Rooms cleaned every day, including fresh towels. Room had 2x a/c units, fridge freezer, hotplate, kettle, toaster, hairdryer, safe and a small balcony. Free wifi throughout resort. Great location for the old town with it's many resturants and bars, or 8 minute walk to the ***** for those who fany something livelier. Beaches are about a 15 minute walk via the ***** with plenty of bars to grab refreshments along the way. Recommend heading away from the ***** for less congested beach, or take the bus to Stalis.

Stayed here July/August 2023 as a family of 4. We stayed in the block across the road from the main hotel. Rooms were clean, modern and well presented. The general up keep of the hotel is excellent with all of the communal areas being clean and well maintained. The food and drinks served on site are of a very high standard. The staff are excellent and cannot do enough for you. Highly recommended.
