It's very centrally located, opposite the Munich Beer House, but the rooms facing the beer house will be a bit noisy.

Among the hotels in Munich, Hotel Platzl-Superior is not bad. I stayed a few times and continued to stay a few times. Overall, it's not bad😊 la la la la la la la la la la

Expensive rates, while offered a reasonable fee to upgrade to secure a higher category room with a bathtub. Normal rooms must feel small for price/class. Reasonable comfort, a bit tired, and partner did not like the lack of carpeting in bedroom. Spa has two saunas, no steam room, limiting use. Great, expensive breakfast buffet. Good location, although many options in this large city and depends on how key it is to be so central to the main squares.

Very close to Marienplatz, just 2 minutes walk. Nice and equipped rooms. Nearby Hofbrauhaus - the very famous bar and restaurant.

The hotel is lovely. Pillows and blankets are not comfortable. Location is convenient but very noisy due to proximity to Hofbrauhouse and Hard Rock Soccer game in town had extreme crowds directly by the hotel with extreme noise yntil 2am

Very nice hotel. Very easy to visit almost all sightseeing spots and restaurants such as Hofbräuhaus by walk.

Extremely good location, but quiet ...apart from very noisy building work, but I'm sure this is only temporary and was only if we came back to our rooms during the afternoon, so encouraged us to go out again for more sightseeing! Liked the kettle provided in the room

I highly recommend the Platzl Hotel to all who are planning a trip to Munich. The buffet breakfast gave ample choice for everyone. The Pfifstermuehle restaurant in hotel was super. Location could not be better.

Friendly professional and polite staff. Great location easily accessible to transport links, markets, museums, bars, restaurants and shopping! Lovely new sauna at the top of the the hotel ! Standard room comfortable large bed, mini fridge, bathrobe and slippers, great rainfall shower. Soundproof rooms, kettle with tea and coffee, hairdryer provided and toiletries! Would recommend and stay again ! Munich is a great city with plenty to see!

A really wonderful hotel with incredible attention to detail. So much to compliment them on but it's the small things that count & I would have say the service really stood out for me. I arrived late in the evening met by an extremely efficient, warm & welcoming front office gentlemen. I didn't see him again so didn't get this name but without asking, he picked up I was foreign, very quickly gave me my bearings, gave me a map, checked me in within minutes & asked where else he could assist. He seemed to read his guests well & that goes a long way. The room was a great size & beautifully appointed with absolutely fabulous coffee, great showers & great linen! The finishings are wonderful, must be newly refurbed & you are literally a few minutes walk from where you need to be. A really great spot in Munich which I will definitely return to.

A friendly and very comfortable hotel, excellently positioned close to Marienplatz.

The staff always said good morning or a welcome, Philip in the bar is amazing; so attentive and always refilling our pretzels for us to snack on while sipping creative non alcoholic cocktails. Thank you!

It is a very good hotel as I expected. Room design is good. The walk in closet and the light in the room is considerably useful. The window is opened in two way. The floor is wood not carpet, it is more clean. The bathroom accessories with gold grohe shower and toilet with duravit. It is modern. But the minor problem in another room on 2nd floor, is a bit noisy . This hotel is in good atmosphere and walkable in city centre. We will come back if we in Munich next time. Thanks

Beautiful property in a great location. Rooms were small but it gave a really nice boutique feel. Very upscale and beautiful. Loved the bar in the lobby.
