This hotel is a fantastic option if you have the right expectations. Pros: Fantastic location, huge rooms (for NYC), clean, no extra charge for 3 or 4th guest in 2-queen rooms, great price Cons: This seems like it was previously a 4 or 5 star hotel that hasn't had much maintenance in the last 30 years and is now a limited service hotel offering reasonable prices. It is clean but a little rough around the edges (could use some paint and wallpaper repairs, some stains in carpets, etc). Staff are very nice but sp****, so you may need to have a little patience at check-in, towel requests etc. Overall, I think it's a good value for money, especially if you're a family and don't want to pay for an extra room for the kids. The pictures are very accurate in terms of what the place will look like, though they don't show some of the slightly shabby aspects.

Very rude staff. No shampoo or conditioners given. They have no towels too. Extremely rude staff. They didn’t care at all.

I really enjoyed my stay, the bed was huge and comfortable and it had a bath which was a big plus. The wifi was good and the room was clean. Good friendly service, would stay here again :)

A bit dirty

I forgot to take pictures. The hotel is retro and the staff has a good service attitude. We have a lot of luggage and they are very proactive in helping us move our luggage when we check in and check out. Let's talk about the disadvantages. 1️⃣ The elevator is so small that it can only hold 4 suitcases and 3 people, and the elevator is full. It can't fit one more person or one more suitcase! ! ! 2️⃣ I feel that the toilet is too big, which makes the bed a bit compact. Although there is a sofa bed, it can't be slept on. It's just a seat, which takes up the overall area of ​​the room. 3️⃣ Check out the next day. No free storage service is provided. It costs 2 dollars to store one person, and we charged 14 dollars for 7 luggages! ! ! Shouldn't general hotels provide free storage? ? ? I am very dissatisfied with this! !

Awful hotel, feels dirty, 1 small towel each, the noise from the road outside and the air vent/generator thing outside is horrendous. Very outdated and feels like it’s not been decorated since 1970. Terrible stay, will not be back. At £300 per night I advise to still Pay extra and go elsewhere

This poorly maintained, ideal location, and improperly managed hotel has got serious issues. Google Lux Urban and you’ll find the leadership are a bunch of scammers. NO bath towels in the entire hotel when we arrived and for the first 3 days. Phone communication doesn’t work in the hotel, several broken or missing items in the hotel room. Beware, they don’t send confirmation emails when you book through their site either. YIKES, avoid or book at your own risk.

The hotel was definitely a bit dated , but we had a great room , very clean and comfortable and large king bed on the 12th floor. Staff were very friendly ! I was concerned about negative reviews about people getting refunds for cancellations, but took a chance anyway , glad we did . I booked directly with wyndam and the price was reasonable , would definitely stay here again !

This is a perfect location across from City Center and perfectly located to walk around the Broadway area; simply elegant for a fair price. I’ve stayed here before and look forward to coming again. This Isa perfect for a more extended stay - comfortable with a fridge & microwave.

Once upon a time this was a nice hotel… today the furnishings are quite worn and shabby. It was clean. There were no perfume fragrances in the room or lobby which matters for many with scent allergies. For a night in NYC Theater District it served the purpose well. Minimal pillows and blankets… lots of noise from busy NYC streets. Part of the experience…

My booking was also canceled without warning 3-4 weeks ago and still no refund. Do not book this hotel. Very disappointing.

I book the hotel in november 2023 for August 2024 using Booking. I already payed and I received the cancellation without to undertand, till today, how I can have back my money. No one from the hotel is telling me how to reach them.... no email address, no answer by telephone call...
