Home style decorated rooms with sitting outside. Clean and quite new. Covienent walk to the pier and restaurants. Walking distance from the bus stop getting to and from ferry.

Thanks, last minute booking because of ferry booking, Nive hotel, service and room good, Clean and tidy. Booked restaurant and service slow there, under staffed but a beautiful meal when it arrived

The staff were incredibly nice, and our room was both spacious and spotless. The location is also super convenient, just an easy 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal. But the on-site parking space is extremely limited.

Clean and tidy room, great position.

Okay, great location. But strange there was a notice in room to say that the room would not be serviced daily (though could request towels, other supplies) and room back on to communal patio area - not much privacy! Room had stale, musty spell sometimes. But was clean and tidy, and well presented.

The room is large and can accommodate up to four people. It has a large balcony, where you can sit and watch the sea and mountains. The bathroom is clean, there is a refrigerator, safe, plates, knives and forks, and the bed is very comfortable. Picton is a small town, and all places are close to each other. There is a 4 square supermarket in the town.

It's pretty standard, it's OK.

Since we were not in a rush, we decided to stay in Picton for one night before leaving. The town is not big but very clean and beautiful. I booked the hotel late, so there were not many options. I chose Beachcomber because the reviews were good. From the train station, follow the navigation and you will arrive in a short time. The front desk staff is a lady, very friendly. We were supposed to check in after 2 pm, but we were arranged in advance. The door is retro and uses a key, which is quite nostalgic. The room is very clean and better than I expected. You can see the beach not far away from the balcony. The distance is not far or near, and you will not be noisy by the bar at night. If the weather is good, sit on the small balcony and chat with the neighbors. It is quite convenient to go to the beach, restaurant and boat.

I chose this hotel so I could catch the early morning ferry to the North Island; it's a five-minute drive from the ferry terminal.
