The environment of the Prague monastery is very good, The air quality is good, the room is very warm, and the breakfast is very rich. We like it very much💕. It is also very close to the scenic spot, and it is very convenient to take the tram. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Prague

This hotel was recommended to me, and the hotel is decent. Room was okay. I called for this reservation just a few days before arriving and nothing was shared about work on the hotel. I flew to Prague out of London, and it’s a 6:15 flight requiring you to arrive at Heathrow Airport at 4:15. I arrived in Prague early, around 9:15 and super tired. The room wasn’t ready, and I didn’t expect it to be, but I checked in and left my baggage to do some sightseeing. I returned to the hotel early evening. Reception gave me the keys to my room and still said nothing about work at the hotel. I arrived to my room to find two giant bottles of drinking water on the desk and a typed notice that the hotel would not have any water the following day from 8-1. Two buckets of water to flush the toilet were left in the bathroom. I am in disbelief an establishment can rent rooms when water can’t be provided. Based on earlier reviews, this isn’t the first time this has happened. I appreciate the provision of water, but I would have appreciated much more a little decent honesty. Telling someone renting a room there won’t be water is common courtesy. For this reason, I would never stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone. I will inform the people who suggested this place to me of the same. Guests deserve better.

A beautiful hotel with a very convenient location. It is located across the Strahov Library and St Norbert Brewery. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, different types of bread, eggs, etc. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom had heated floors. The room had a mini fridge.

Amazing rooms, wonderful pillows, very welcoming staff, breakfast was delicious with so many options. Very central to everything from the castle, to the bridge, and old town. 2 minute walk from having dinner in a 14th century "basement" at Na Pekle, a must do while here. Will be booking here again on our next trip, learned to book parking when you book the hotel. Also read the parking instructions on how to access it by car.

We stayed here for over a week, visiting from the UK. We thought it was very clean, beds very comfortable. Only strange thing is reception only open 7-7. However it is a small hotel so I can see that having staff 24/7 could be wasteful. Nice views. Had a lovely stay.

Super helpful friendly staff. Rooms peaceful, very clean and spacious . Great breakfast and well located.We normally stay in the busy areas but decided to stay a little out this time and we are glad we did. Our 5th visit to Prague and we would definitely stay here again . It’s possible to jump on a tram so you don’t have to walk up the hill.

Was looking for a characterful place to stay in Prague and Hotel Monastery didn’t disappoint. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Prague proper, part of the Strahon Monastery complex, which is also home to a brewery, and up on the hill overlooking the city. But with easy access to public transport links into Prague - the number 22 tram is only three minutes walk - I really couldn’t fault the location. We were lucky to get what I’m guessing is the best room in the hotel, a two level room with a brilliant view out of the side windows. Would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful place ! Comfortable bed and pillows to start with. Perfect bathroom with correct water temperature and water pressure. Room has AC and heating. The upper floor rooms have a split level so the bed is upstairs. The hotel is located only 2 minutes walk from the tram, that is very convenient for getting around especially back up the hill once you have been down town. The monastery and its grounds are so nice they really did a good job converting this into a boutique hotel. We drove ourselves found it a little bit hard to find but every taxi driver probably knows it even if they are blindfolded. From the square where google maps takes you, you have to walk up the stairs between two shops. Breakfast is good and hotel staff is friendly.

A very quiet and beautiful location, staff very helpful and friendly. Room very comfortable and the bed linen of good quality. Shower and bath excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again!

Located in a beautiful setting away from the hussle and bussle of the centre of Prague. Very helpful staff, lovely breakfasts and room service. Would highly recommend hotel Monastery if you are looking for a peaceful break in Prague.

Very close to the castle. Very unique and interesting experience. Parking was a bit difficult on-site, but there were other options available.

A very cozy hotel. Those working in reception were very helpful. A nice outdoor space where we ate breakfast. We had the family room and it was roomy.
