Location is good, but the facilities are old and not really well taken care of. As mentioned by other reviews, the price does not match what you get. It’s located on one of the more quiet beaches on the island, and especially at night, it is not easy to reach the more lively areas of the island. If coming back to Koh Samet I would not chose this accommodation again.

Loved the location so much, we extended our stay.

Upon check-in, they gave us the opportunity to look at the rooms and choose the one we liked best from several. The downside is that for 4 nights there is no cleaning, not even the courtyard area and rugs where dust and sand flies. Only the towels were replaced and the space was added. supplies and water. The restaurant at the hotel has a beautiful view, but in the evenings it can be busy and the forced wait for food can take an indefinite period of time.. One evening we were not able to have dinner, we had to move to the neighbors, Cafe bar in the middle of the beach with a billiards table, excellent service, young guys, the waiters are great, and sociable, and you can eat deliciously and quickly. If desired, you can rent a bike on the spot ~400 baht. If you go up to the central road, there is a tuk-tuk parking about 15 minutes away.

Beautiful place. Simply, you can sit and enjoy the view. Beautiful beach, not noisy. Rasta bars, reggae music. If you want to relax mentally, come here! ! Small but cozy resort. We liked. Thank you!

The location and scenery of the hotel itself are truly unbeatable and perfect. However, the service provided by the landlady was a little impatient, and she clearly showed her impatience after asking a few more questions. But other than that, everything was really good. I would still come again for the sake of the hotel itself. The food was also very good, but the portions were a little small.

Everything was great, the room was beautiful, clean, slept well, excellent facilities, excellent tech care.

Quiet resort for those who want privacy. The room is clean and the view is good Breakfast was ok, service staff were very nice, recommended, recommended.

The B&B wooden house is a little secluded. When you open the door, you face the sea and the private beach. It is better than the hotel next door. The store also has a restaurant. The taste is in line with Chinese tastes. You can also see the fire on the shore during dinner time. The dance performance was truly an unforgettable experience.

Close to nature, quiet

Place is worth a visit for the nice view it offers. That's about it... Food is outrageously bland (watery Green curry, flavourless Sauteed Pork with Garlic and Black Pepper..) and the menu offers the usual boring tourists-aimed dishes (Pad Thai, fried rice, chucken w/ cashew nuts). The neighboring restaurants (namely the Reggae Bar) are of much higher standards foodwise.

Great location and very helpful welcoming staff nothing is to much trouble for them.Located on a lovely beach with a couple of restaurants and bars.Great seaview from rooms 8/9. Spent five nights at Tongta in march and I would highly recommend this resort

Little corner of paradise for lovers of calm and authenticity. We rented a Beach front bungalow (No. 8) initially for 4 nights and we extended it for 2 + 4 additional nights. The owner, her daughter and her staff are all very pleasant and helpful. We had lunch and dinner almost every day at this hotel. The menu offers a choice of many dishes at a reasonable price and the cuisine is good. You can even have your meal delivered to the bungalow so you can eat on your terrace with a breathtaking view of the sea. We did not have breakfast. Deckchairs, parasols are included and at your disposal canoe, buoys, and various free games. It is also possible to rent a scooter at the hotel. On the other hand, for calm, book Beach Front otherwise the music from the surrounding bars is disturbing for a good sleep. We were delighted by this authentic hotel (clean but not luxurious) and its location on the island.
