The air conditioner was broken so I had to ask the receptionist to fix it. I fixed it, but it was so noisy that it bothered me all night...or rather, all day long. (I was tired so I was able to sleep though) The room was generally well-cleaned and I was satisfied, but the floor was really dirty and after spending a while barefoot, the soles of my feet turned black. For Japanese people who don't feel comfortable wearing shoes indoors, slippers are a must. Also, it was a shame that I couldn't make my own tea or coffee as there was no electric kettle. Transportation is horribly bad. If you walk, you can only go as far as the neighboring town. "I can't go" doesn't mean that it's too far to walk, but rather that it's so dangerous that you can't really go anywhere because it's separated by a de facto motorway and private land. I need to take a bus. As a purely lodging facility, I think it's pretty comfortable except for the things mentioned above.
