Quaint hotel in walking distance to everything in DT Santa Barbara. Great for a short stay.

I checked into this hotel on Friday, so the price was 2,300, which is twice as expensive as usual. It is considered a motel in general. The decoration is American-style and parking is free. Some people have rated the breakfast very well, but I think it is very average. It only has some bread and cold boiled eggs. There is a tofu and vegetable snack. There is no bacon, sausage, or vegetables. The fruit is cantaloupe, which is quite disappointing. If around 1,000 is acceptable, then the service is considered normal.

The room was not clean. The WiFi is terrible and not state of the art (technically poor captive portal). There was old pasta lying around behind the closet. Insects were in the room and chirping at night until I finally found them all and squished them. The pool is tiny and from the street it's like being on a presentation plate. Something for children at best. The hotel is only suitable for old people who can get drunk here with the free wine and have no other requirements. It is right next to the highway, so you can't sleep very well. The road is in bad condition, to walk anywhere you have to cross a freeway entrance, and you get wet because part of the walkway is flooded apparently.

This place is a hidden gem! It boasts a unique atmosphere and an ideal location within walking distance of the beach and downtown's many restaurants and stores. We loved the thoughtful touches like the lavender sachets on the pillows and the happy hour food and drinks in the lobby upon our afternoon arrival. While the gym is conveniently located across the street in their sister hotel, it's still readily accessible. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!

Happy Hour, bottle of champagne and water in room, breakfast, free parking, beautiful pool, property clean and well cared for. Rooms slightly outdated; but all the amenities mentioned above outweigh the beauty of the room.

Internet may or most likely may not work, I find this very frustrating. Otherwise I really like the place.

This time was our fourth stay at this motel. We love the location, easy parking and friendly staff. The only issue we had is the humidity smell in the room (we left windows open) and also the absence of hot water later in the morning. I guess we should have taken showers earlier in the day.

Travelling with my 15 year old son. The reception area is beautiful. The grounds are lovely. The pool is clean and well surrounded by fencing. It was a nice surprise to have a welcome wine and cheese and to discover a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room. The sister hotel across the street has bicycles to use for free and that was really fun! The locations is only two blocks from the beach. The only down side is the quality of the room itself. It has a musty odour and low quality bed and bedding. The only heat source is a budget heater that looks ancient and is not vey functional. Next time I would choose the Brisas Del Mar across the street.

We stayed here last year and loved it, so we are back!! We love the wine happy hours and the nice upgrade and the relaxing outdoor seatings. All staff are extremely friendly. Eli is one of them, and also the front desk person in the morning shift. They always greet everyone with a sincere smile and helpful & pleasant conversation. They really make us feel like home and very welcome. We'll be back here for sure every year going forward.

This is a lovely property close to the beach. The rooms are large and quiet. The staff is very friendly and the afternoon wine and cheese and delicious breakfast made this a perfect short stay.

Three nights at this Inn walkable to many sights through residential neighborhoods. Staff is very accommodating, breakfast is light and more than enough. Would stay again in future.

Great service, comfortable rooms, excellent location. Really enjoyed the breakfast and wine happy hour as well.
