absolutely loved it; small and personal hotel, really helpful and friendly staff; wine, meats and cheeses were excellent; bikes for exploring and a good breakfast; easy walking to town, beach and harbour; will definitely return; Thankyou

I checked into this hotel on Friday, so the price was 2,300, which is twice as expensive as usual. It is considered a motel in general. The decoration is American-style and parking is free. Some people have rated the breakfast very well, but I think it is very average. It only has some bread and cold boiled eggs. There is a tofu and vegetable snack. There is no bacon, sausage, or vegetables. The fruit is cantaloupe, which is quite disappointing. If around 1,000 is acceptable, then the service is considered normal.

The overall experience to value of this hotel is fine.
THE GOOD: Front desk service was outstanding! Friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The happy hour win and charcuterie + breakfast in the morning were welcome surprises! We were also provided a free bottle of chilled champagne in our room! The location is also close to downtown, train station and beach.
THE BAD: The room we were given, while large, was almost windowless and had a strange mildew smell throughout. The furniture is super outdated and the carpet and decor is in very bad need of a refresh.

I travel to SB often. Lavender Inn was a great place to stay. Breakfast and evening wine &/cheese were very nice. I loved the location being close to downtown but being quiet and offering a lot of wonderful options like biking and walking.

We stayed here the night before our wedding. When we checked in they surprised us with a free upgrade to our room! It was a quaint hotel with great charm ... We will definitely be back

We came to Santa Barabara for the first time to celebrate my husbands 43rd birthday. Front office staff was super nice and very knowledgeable. Lee helped us out getting checked in and settled in. We arrived 30 mins early than check in time, but was no issue. Lee gave a us a map of the city and recommended a few locations to check out while in town. They had a bottle of champagne ready for his birthday. Area waa quite at night, no loudness at all. The complementary breakfast was simple but good. We loved how we were only 3 blocks away from the shore and little liquor store and 7 eleven. The only thing I wished the TV were a little bigger, instead a little one inside the cabinet.

We loved our stay at The Lavender Inn. We booked a queen bed. It was on the first level across from the pool. Bed was super comfy and we were able to adjust the heat. Loved the little touches of lavender satchel on the pillow and champagne for 2. The location was perfect. We were able to walk the funk zone and State Street. The woman at the front desk (so nice throughout our stay) recommended Brophy Brothers for a late lunch and it was delicious. Each morning we had breakfast and we also had the happy hour wine. It was an excellent stay and we would most definitely be back.
