Newly renovated, hotel is clean and staffs are very friendly. Not a bad location, at the same time not the prime location, there are big mall and two subway station within 15-20min walk. I would definitely go back if im traveling in Nanshan, Shenzhen area

There is smoke and smells coming from outside of building. There is cooking exhaust made our trip bad

The male front desk staff is super unfriendly. I thought him that my aircon unit is not working and he asked me to try to fix myself. But other staffs are quite nice. the hotel is so small and it is definitely not a 4 star standard.

The hotel is kind of new. the toilet is automatic and light switches are on a control panel. even the curtains are centrally controlled. if your language
skill is adequate you can operate everything by bedside-even the air conditioner. if on the other hand your Chinese language skill needs improvement
you'll find your way by trial and error.
again the hotel is easy to find in Chinese. type in English on Didi etc the hotel is non-existant. the taxi driver took a while to find the place on his Chinese Baidu.
that makes travel an adventure.

Was very impressed with this hotel. It has a clean but stylish appearance (which is clearly appealing to the young audience who also seemed to be staying there) with small but well-designed rooms. The facilities are comfortable and create a pleasant a**osphere. Technology is nicely used to replace all the normal switches (although an opportunity to cater for languages other than Chinese?). The location is convenient to subways, Houhai, Shekou, the waterfront, etc although slightly removed. Don't expect views from a 'Panoramic' room. Cleaning staff were a little noisy in the corridors but typically respectful of guests. Hotel appears to be pet-friendly which is a nice touch.
My main issue was with service on check-in... they didn't seem particularly happy to have a foreigner, preferring to help anyone else while taking a long time to check me in with an unnecessarily large number of copies and photos of my passport. Didn't have to interact with them beyond this and check-out was very quick.
