Stayed at Skiathos Living for a 4-night break with my 13-year old daughter during half term. I'll start with all the positive and wonderful things about it, the staff are absolutely amazing, so helpful and cheerful and we loved meeting Panther, the most pampered stray on the island, the location is really great - close enough to the centre of town and just a couple of minutes walk from the harbour and local restaurants, but set up on a hill away from the noise of later venues. Pool was lovely (but chilly!) with adequate sun loungers and use of hotel towels as the cushions were sometimes wet. Views, from the rooms and the pool are out of this world, just stunning. There are a number of steps up to the hotel, but you can call ahead and ask for help with your luggage and there are lifts to all floors once you are inside, so although it's probably not for those with mobility issues, the steps and climb are worth it for the views. The only (small) negative I have is that the rooms aren't really soundproof and being away with a 13-year old we were generally in bed by around 10.30pm but I was woken up a couple of times by neighbours returning in the early hours, although it didn't bother my daughter who generally slept through it! Really enjoyed our stay, loved the location and the views and the Island and would stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Skiathos Living. Clean, comfortable and cool …. If a little lacking in bedroom storage for bedroom 2 which also had no AC. Having said that the staff were immediately helpful and brought me a portable unit which worked perfectly well for the duration of our 3 night stay. We stayed in the two bedroom/2 bathroom apartment 106. It also has two balconies. Perfect. The kitchenette wasn’t terribly well appointed but in all honesty we only needed two mugs for our morning tea and some plates for our very generous breakfast, a huge tray, hand delivered to our room at our chosen time each morning. We loved the fact that it is located a little way up from town so it was quiet for sleeping. And the steps were a good way of walking off our dinner Pool area is lovely. The staff were all absolutely charming and we’re definitely going to book for this time next year!

Awful tired hotel that is more like apartments , no bar or restaurant . Stained beds , badly lit bathroom , terrible shower , about 100 steps up to reception ( rarely attended) Never again !! Tui not interested offered £100 holiday voucher or £100 cash then closed case ! Stated in write up cabanas around pool relax and order a drink ?? Where from ? No bar !

What a little gem 💎 … although it may need a little polishing 😜 We visited Skiathos for a wedding with 30 other people, all dotted around Skiathos Town. This accommodation was perfectly adequate, comfortable bed, very spacious room with Fridge and cooking facilities. Yes, the stairs up to the apartments are challenging but the view across the bay was worth every step 👍 We did have a problem with the shower head in our room 109 .. but it was just a little inconvenience and nothing more than that. Staff are so helpful and cheerful, bedding changed daily along with cleaning… absolutely spotless. Very convenient for the town and the beachside restaurants on the way to the airport. It’s great to sit on the balcony watching planes ✈️ come into land and take off over the bay. Food was continental breakfast and more than enough, delivered to the room every morning and if we hadn’t had full on days with our friends for the wedding and preparations, we would have had enough to make a small packed lunch whilst we explored this wonderful island. Pool is great, beds around them are weathered but hey, these guys have just been through some of the worst storms in their history and it’s towards the end of season🤷‍♂️ Thank you for looking after us on your beautiful island, we hope to come back very soon 🙏 Phil & Di

We stayed at Skiathos living September 2023.We had a loft suite with sea view.The room was very clean and spacious, with a lovely view of the harbour. However the furniture was tired and grubby with a hole in the sofa arm. The bathroom had very poor lighting and the boiler was leeking across the floor. When we reprted this , the staff acted on it straight away. They had the water turned off,and offered us a downstairs room to shower in . A new boiler was installed the next day. As there is no dining facility, breakfast was dilivered to our room. It was more than ample and varied each day.It was a shame there was no toaster or microwave, just two small hot plates and a kettle. The kitchen was quite large, but very sparce cooking utensils. So if you wanted to cook something, you would be very limited. Our biggest disappointment was the pool area.It was not maintained. The pool had green algae around the rym. The sunbeds looked nothing like the picture advertising the hotel. They may have looked nice once,but they are now stained and filthy. Also the small poolside tables are rusty. It is a shame we can not recomend Skiathos living because it is well situated, just five minutes walk to the town and bus station. The staff were helpful, but it is not a four star accommodation , only a three .It is not good value,definately not luxury. We expected better.

Excellent property, great location with amazing staff! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Skiathos.

Lots of steps to reach reception (40 steps). Bad smells in the bathrooms. Bad value for money.

Staff were nice and attentive. Especially Isabella who was so knowledgeable. But at the high rates we paid there was not enough value although the property rooms are large and lovely. Needs key upgrades in ventilation system, showers etc. pool was nice and would benefit from 24 hour reception and at least a small cafe on site.

Next to quite a busy road so it's not very relaxing sitting on the balcony. Absolutely no food or drink facilities so if you fancy a drink when lying by the pool you have to bring your own. Breakfast is delivered to your door on a tray at a time you specify so this means you can't be spontaneous if you wake up early and want an early breakfast. There are a lot of steps to get up to the property which is tiresome with luggage. Apartment itself was ok but I would not stay there again or recommend it.

This was our second time here. Five years ago under previous owners it was a little more luxurious. We had this time the loft suite. We are now in our 60s and struggled with both the steps up from the road (no porter after 8.00pm but young lady at reception did help with one suite case). The loft ladder in suite was also a challenge and we were glad we did have an accident falling. Sofa - dated, stained and covered. No waiter or bar in complex. It's a good location though , 100 yards from old port the reason for only 3 out of 5 was vfm. We met a family of four that only paid £1600 in good 3 star. We paid for two £2400 for a week. It's not luxury by any stretch but clean . Would we go again?..... Skiathos yes, appartment no.

A mixed review. When I booked it was advertised as ‘Skiathos Luxury Living’ when we arrived it has been downgraded to Skiathos Living. The apartment was very basic. Very limited self catering faculties, which meant we then had to eat out for every meal. The apartment furnishing were simple, clean but heavily stained on the sofas and curtains. The beds were uncomfortable. The children had to put duvets on the mattresses so they could not feel the springs. That said, the apartment was cleaned a daily with fresh towels etc. The pool was sufficient, but small with no bar / shop (fine for us but highlighting). Great location to Skiathos town which was perfect for our 16 year old girls. Bus route stop 1, was right outside complex with supermarket and bakery not much further. Small balcony but with a stunning view of Skiathos. Lovely island, great people, very friendly, affordable but very busy and commercial in places. Old town is stunning. Beaches lovely. We hired a small power boat for a couple of days, which was great to escape some of the busier beaches.

This place was marketed as “luxury living” and the price they charge is a luxury price. We paid AUD 921 for 3 nights including breakfast. It was NOT worth anything like that price. In terms of quality it was only worth AUD 450. The photos are seductive and the promise of a deluxe Seaview suite had us fooled. The place also claims to be a hotel - it isn’t. It’s constructed as apartments, but operates as a quasi hotel/ serviced apartment, but yet is neither. There were no common areas except the pool and no dining area. In fact, the reception is located in a ground floor apartment. Yet, it was not a proper apartment either. Far from the billed full service kitchen, there was no microwave, just an old rusty 2 burner plug-in stove. The kitchen had no knives, except from one small chopping knife. If you wanted to self cater, you could not do that either. Far from luxury, I would describe it as Spartan. The mattress on the bed is thin and you could feel every spring. The living room furniture actually comprises mostly wooden boxes with thin mattresses on top. The furnishings were sparse in a huge space. The living/kitchen/dining room was huge, but with a tiny TV tucked in the corner. The breakfast was delivered on a tray to the room, but no choice or options were offered. While over generous, more than you could eat, it was mostly carbohydrate - lots of bread, croissants, pastries, pies, cake etc, though a boiled egg was always included. But the cheese and ham were very low quality and in Greece you usually expect some tomatoes and cucumber and feta cheese. The breakfast had to come with wooden fork and knife, no doubt due to the lack of knives in the room. The place is also very noisy in terms of furnishings and fit out. Every time a person upstairs moved furniture it was audible in our apartment. Likewise the noise of flushing toilets above was audible in the bedroom. And when people above returned in the early hours it was like a herd of elephants! Most of the other people staying were UK residents on TUI packages, evident by the prominent TUI marketing paraphernalia at the front door. I safely assume they were not charged anything like the AUD 307 (£164/€193) per night that we were charged. The only reason to give this place 2/5 instead of 1/5 is due to the view and the size of the apartment and balcony, plus the staff, who were all very pleasant.

Just got back from Skiathos Living after a retirement week with myself and 5 friends. Had a 3 bedroom apartment with a seview. The room was outstanding and was very spacious. The room was cleaned daily and the staff were really helpful. The property is in a fantastic location near to the first bus stop so no issue getting a seat. The views across the bay are amazing. Isabella the manager is so helpful in giving advice on excursions and helping with our stay. If you want to stay in Skiathos town with a large group, then this is tnhe place to stay. I have walked many miles around the town researching locations and hotels and found this one to be perfect.
