Hotel Luciano K Reviews

This hotel was built in 1820. It was built by the most famous local architect at that time. It has the flavor of Peace Hotel. If you like the old money style, this hotel is the best choice. The old elevator can still be used. You can see the Notre Dame, the tallest building in South Africa and the Andes Mountains in the distance from the bar and restaurant on the top floor. The sunset and the moon are beautiful. I stayed here for eight days. All the staff knew me and were very friendly to me. The breakfast was also very rich. The bar on the top floor also provided dinner. The hotel is located in the cultural center of Santiago. There are many restaurants, bars and supermarkets around. Basically, famous attractions can be reached by foot. The Notre Dame is near a large catering center opposite the hotel. You can take a cable car up the mountain to see the scenery of the whole city. There is an art market not far from the hotel, selling some interesting gadgets. Opposite the hotel is a huge open park where you can run. On the carriage road built in 1900, the park was built along the road for about two kilometers. At the end of the left hand is the National Gallery.

The hotel is very cozy and the location is very good. It is next to the Plaza de Armas, but the room is a bit small. The waiters are very enthusiastic. There are many squares nearby where you can go shopping and it is very safe.

Nice vintage property. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable and the shower functioned well. The staff was very friendly and very competent.

Great stay in Santiago. Location perfect. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Rooftop bar and pool (although we didn’t use the pool) massive and very nice. Minor issues were the room was a little small and it felt quite dark.

The hotel is in a great location, walkable to the bars and restaurants of Bella Vista and Lastarria. It is a bit dated but the bed was comfy. The staff were excellent and very helpful.

Unique and beautifully done boutique hotel in the perfect location straddling the Bellavista and LaStarria neighborhoods, while still being nice and quiet at night. We loved the breakfast and pool deck (the view!!!) and staff were very responsive to requests. The pool bar / restaurant hours (besides the gratis breakfast) were not clearly laid out so don’t expect a 24/7 bar by the pool (that is my only extremely minor note). We loved our stay.

The services provided by the front desk, roof-top restaurant and breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly; however, my room and those of my friends need dusting and cleaning.

The staff was very helpful. We were very impressed by the staff having a very early breakfast ready for us before departing for the airport.

The staff were excellent, polite and helpful. the architecture was interesting with an old elevator. we used the new one to transport luggage. marble staircase to the top floor, bar on top of building.

This hotel has huge potential but unfortunately it has not been maintained well. My room was dirty…all the baseboards and most surfaces that could collect dust were covered with dust. The vent over the sink hadn’t been cleaned in years. Fortunately, the toilet, bathroom sink and bed were clean. Otherwise, I couldn’t have stayed there. My TV satellite box had been disconnected before I arrived, the battery in the safe died while my valuables were inside, and the phone didn’t work. The staff was helpful but it took an hour to resolve these issues. Breakfast was mediocre. Although it’s .2 miles from the Lastarria neighborhood, the walk to get there is uncomfortable.

Such a beautiful, convenient hotel for our stay in Santiago. We loved the rooftop area for a pisco sour in the evenings before dinner.

I really liked this hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the free breakfast was wonderful, and the location in Santiago was perfect. The style and vibe of the hotel were fantastic. I also felt very safe. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because of three things: the WiFi was painfully slow, the noise around my room was loud (I was next to the housekeeping storage/work room), and I had to pay for an entire extra night just to check in early. I would have also had to pay a hefty additional fee if I had chosen to checkout late. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Luciano K Hotel, and I would recommend it as a nice, safe place to stay in a centrally located area.

Everyone at Luciano K made our stay easy and enjoyable. Front desk, breakfast, bar, and housekeeping crew are all friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and spacious. Breakfast is extensive and delicious. The hotel is conveniently located near Lasterria and other places of interest.

The hotel is historic and unique and the cold room was such a welcome respite on an unbearably hot day. Really loved my room and found it to be such a treat. My neck doesn’t do well with feather pillows so unfortunately I didn’t rest as well as I wanted, but overall comfortable. The pool area is decent. I went for a dip and burnt my feet on the metal which was hard to avoid while entering. Very nice and accommodating staff. Loved the neighborhood, safe and lively.
