Hotel Marinela Sofia

Here's an objective review of my stay: 1. There were hairs on the pillow when I checked in. 2. The mattress springs were easily felt with a light touch. 3. The duvet's filling was clumpy. 4. I brought 3 of my own hangers to put in the wardrobe; 2 that weren't being used disappeared, while the one holding clothes remained. 5. The air conditioning wasn't working, and I wasn't informed or warned about this during check-in. When I discovered the issue and asked the front desk, they said it would take four or five days to fix. It was too hot without AC, so I tried to negotiate an early check-out with the hotel, but no one responded or even confirmed if it was possible. I contacted the platform, and they also faced endless delays trying to mediate. When I reported the missing hangers to the hotel, nearly an hour later, someone claiming to be security staff just tossed a few hangers at us. Don't even bother asking what happened, because the answer was always 'I don't know!' In the end, I gave up on negotiations and angrily checked out early. And for this, they still charge 700-800 RMB per night!!!

Rooms vary quite a bit depending on the floor.

Decent hotel, a bit old. Out of the center about 20 minutes walk. Decent breakfast
