I had such a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Aminta. The service was excellent from start to finish – the staff were always attentive and reliable. The shuttle service in particular stood out: it ran at different hours, always on time without a single delay, and was spotless every ride. Breakfast was a highlight for me – the cappuccino and coffee were especially good, easily some of the best I’ve had on a trip. I also planned a small birthday surprise for my partner, and the hotel staff carried it out beautifully and very discreetly, which made it extra special. The location is great, the pool area is lovely with amazing views, and everything was kept very clean throughout our stay. Overall, it felt like real value for money – a mix of comfort, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily return.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. We got very beautiful Mountain view from our Room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting!!"

Excellent hotel to stay and relax and enjoy the view

We had a great experience at this hotel. It is located just outside of downtown Sorrento so it is a longer walk up hill to the hotel but they have a free shuttle service that runs every hour. The views are terrific which is where this hotel shines. There is also a pool and hot tub but the hot tub did not have enough solar power to operate during our stay.

Great hotel, only issue is the shuttle is never on time and to get from the hotel to main town in the middle of summer was a chore in itself, hotel staff were great and pool and views were great

All I can say is that it was a perfect evening, night, and awakening. The dinner was fantastic, not only for the fish but also for the impeccable service.

A full five-star review is a must! The hotel is located on a hilltop, but the shuttle bus is convenient and punctual. A special shout-out to the receptionist, Ms. VI – she was beautiful and kind, and provided a detailed introduction to Sorrento. The bathroom sink drain in my room was a little slow, but after I mentioned it, someone was immediately called to fix it. The breakfast was plentiful and unique; the apple juice was delicious. I asked the waiter if it had sugar or honey, and he said it was pure juice. The lemon cake and apple pie were also excellent. The staff were polite and attentive. This was the only non-five-star hotel I stayed at during my nearly one-month trip to Europe, but it was the most stunning. I saw a breathtaking sunset over the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius bathed in sunlight. I will definitely come back next time.

This was my favorite hotel during my European trip (although I was charged extra upon check-out, I'm still waiting for the bill); 1. The public area faces the volcano directly, the environment is very beautiful. 2. There is a shuttle bus to and from the town, which is very convenient. 3. Although the hotel is quite old, the cleaning staff are practically obsessive about cleanliness, it was very clean.
