Very Good

Plus points: the view is quite ok, the receptionist is gentle and attentive. Minus point: the door lock is too strange, difficult to use. There are no napkins in the room. Personally, I find it small but essential. If I had more, the experience would be much better.

Good hotel. Friendly staff. Great view from the hotel. Breakfast could be better. Cleanliness is 4.

View is great, Room is very nice, bed was very comfortable. Food is quite average to less than average. Location is noisy due to the construction going on nearby and this will end at some point. Staff is sometimes hard to locate and/or distinguish from customers. This place has a lot of potential it is just not there yet.

We spent a wonderful, very comfortable night at the Sapa Vista Hotel overlooking the beautiful valley and rice terraces. Food and service is excellent, in house massage was amazing and the location perfect! We definitely will come back to Sapa but next time we will stay much longer to explore this beautiful location and kind local people. Thank you for the memories!

The hotel is conveniently located to the area attractions with many coffee/dining options and shops. It has an incredible view of the mountains and rice terraces. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Buffet breakfast was decent—can’t expect too much at this rate. The room is basic and the bathroom could use some adjustments to make it fully functional and comfortable. Overall, it was a reasonable value for the money.

The rooms are nice and big and the bed is soft and comfy. Nice enough hotel although staff at times are inattentive and wearing track suit and thongs. Food is average and the breakfast is really a waste of time. Toast not toasted and a very limited choice of meal. No Bain Marie or buffet. We had an omelette that was cut up into small pieces and we needed butter for the toast. Coffee was undrinkable. It is a steep walk into the town area, but not that far, and there are plenty of taxis and shuttle buses. I will stay closer to the town centre next time.
Response from Property: Thanks for your feedback! We sorry that you stayed with us during the low season so that is reason why we could not arrange the buffet for your breakfast, we are so sorry to heard that!!! For the staffs we will retraining for sure!!!

The staff are very friendly. If you speak English, there is no problem. I was frustrated because I couldn't speak both English and Vietnamese. The staff didn't care at all and tried to help. Bus reservation, Sapa area ticketing, etc. are all solved. Motorbike rental is also available at the hotel. The location is at the entrance of Cat Cat Village, so you have to walk uphill to get to the central city center. Breakfast is okay, but the problem is that the sound insulation is too weak.

The location is not great. It is quite a climb to reach the center. No elevator to the 7th floor, only to the 6th. Breakfast is ok but no more than that. View May be great but we couldn’t tell as it was too foggy during our 2 night stay. Overall, ok but not amazing.

We stayed here for one night after completing a 15KM trek through the valley. We booked a mountain view room on one of the upper floors and were very sad that the valley was completely fogged in when we arrived to the room so you could not see anything. About 30 minutes later though it was like someone flipped a switch and the fog started to fade away giving some amazing views! After our trek we were extremely tired and decided to just sit and look out the window until later that night since it was so pretty. We had no trouble with road noise but were on one of the higher floors. We also did not have any meals at the hotel so I cannot comment on the food. We did utilize their currency exchange to trade some USD to VND but I would not plan on changing very large amounts (we did $100 and they barely had enough to cover that). We did decide to go back into town which is an uphill climb so we opted to take one of the many electric car transports there (they are everywhere it seemed and the front desk helped in calling one for us). Sapa at night is all lights and sounds and worth the visit into town just to see it all. We walked back (all downhill on the way back) and you will pass a lot of shops and places to eat. We got up early the next morning to catch a bus back to Hanoi and had no problem getting a Grab to our stop. The only cons I will say is the room is a bit damp but that is the entire area of Sapa due to the weather (our clothes never dried out after a trek in the rain) and it would have been great to have a bathtub to have a hot bath to soak in after a long trek.

The mountain view was fantastic. Disliked the staff who didn't want to check us in at 11.15am, despite the room was ready. They should have told me no early check in is allowed when they asked for my arrival time, a day prior to my arrival when I inquired about a tour. The staff eventually gave me the room when I reason with them. And expected, half an hour extension for check out is not allowed. Breakfast is very limited without any juice. I gave a 3 star due to the price paid, otherwise, it would be a 2 star.

I am a very experienced travler and have never, ever checked in and within a few minutes checked out of a hotel and went to another hotel...this is what we did here. The room was dingy, and dirty. The sheets were dirty and the curtains were disgusting. The only reason I gave one star was because the staff were very nice and the view is great.

We booked a 3 days/2 nights Sapa tour and was given this hotel. The only advantage was the view. 1. Room was average and was not properly cleaned when we checked in - creased bedsheet and the barhroom smells of damp. On second day it feels like housekeeping didnt even bother to clean but only pulled the bedsheet without even fluffing up the pillows. Out coffee cups were not even washed. 2. Restaurant - breakfast was plenty but more catered to vietnamese tastebuds. I only had coffee and 2 bananas. 3. Lastly We booked a 6 seater vip limousine via this hotel, 2 days ahead only to be informed 1 hour before departure that the two of us had to sit next to the driver. I just blew my top off ( mind you Sapa to hanoi is a 5 hr drive) and demanded a refund. ALL i can say is that i am very unhappy with the standards and the services rendered. The only person who spoke English there ( which i was told is the owner) didnt even come forward to explain. There are many hotels in Sapa. Dont let the wrong choice of hotel spoils your trip there.
