This is a great mid-priced hotel with prices roughly half of that at MiraCosta or Ambassador's. Due to the good prices, newness (opened in 2022), Happy Entry to Disneyland and simply cute Toy Story theme throughout the hotel, it was hard to book a room here but it's definitely worth it! It was also easy to get to Disneyland --- just a short walk to the monorail station and a stop away. LOVE the playground where you'll feel like you've been shrunken to be the size of a toy and playing on a giant board game in Andy's room. Woody, Buzz, Jessie and friends are all larger than you!

What can I say this place is AMAZING. As a toy story lover I knew I had to stay here. From the racers carpark to the little details absolutely everywhere, you can't go wrong. All staff that we interacted with were absolutely lovely. Bonuses about staying at one of the Disney hotels is getting actual tickets to the parks nothing digital so it's a great keepsake, restaurant on site and luggage forwarding if you are then staying at another Disney hotel. We ended up having dinner (jumped online and managed to get a booking when we were in Disneysea) at Lotso Cafe as we were exhausted and didn't want to go out anywhere. We also had breakfast (which I booked when I booked our room). Breakfast is filling with a great variety and amazing staff. We also used the luggage forwarding service as we were staying at another Disney hotel the following night. Would we stay here again....YES YES YES

We stayed here in Dec 23 while on a trip to the Disney parks. Loved everything about the place. Beautiful colorful exteriors and interiors make you feel like a child again. Very pleasant and smiling staff .. all going out of their way to converse in English! Breakfast is a big assor**ent. The room is quite cramped but well laid out. We loved the night suits. The stay in a Disney resort also gets one a lot of vouchers and priority passes for rides .. overall an excellent stay

During my June 2023 visit to Tokyo, in addition to staying at the Disneyland Hotel, my friend and I also stayed here at the Toy Story. Though we didn't have a special entrance pass (Happy Entry), the stay allowed us to be close for our visit to Tokyo DisneySea. It was a short tram ride from Toy Story to the stop for the park. This also allowed us to try the Lotso Buffet. Only hotel guests are allowed on site. When you arrive, be sure to have your reservation info or proof of. We arrived the morning on the day we were checking in. They allowed us to store our luggage while we had breakfast at Lotso and then wandered the area. The park visit was the next day. Check-in process was smooth and simple. English speaking staff at the front desk as well as the bell desk and gift shop. Keep in mind the theme of the hotel so if expect a lot of kids. Or I should say families. Both the indoor and outdoor decor is Toy Story themed. As for the room, see pics. The room we were in had hardwood floors. Mentioning that in case you prefer carpet. Room was clean but a little on the smaller side. The bed was comfortable on a scale from firmness, 10 being hard, I'd say it was about a 6. Excellent water pressure and nice scalding hot water for showering or baths. Check-out was as smooth and simple as check-in and we took advantage of their bell desk storing our luggage for the day while we hit DisneySea. When we returned to get our luggage, the staff helped again, by calling us a taxi. Keep in mind that if you stay here, there aren't other dining facilities other than The Lotso Cafe. There is a "convenience" like store where you can purchase snacks and drinks but know, there's no dining area. Eating and drinking not allowed in the lobby. We brought our snacks back to the room and enjoyed them there. I didn't see but I also didn't look for other amenities that you might want like a pool, spa or gym. Check their site, or call and ask.

I am giving the hotel 4/5 for one reason and that is the beds. They are ROCK hard, like I may as well have been sleeping on the floor. I have a herniated disc and this bed made it 1000 times worse, it was like torture getting into bed and after being at the Disney Parks all day all you want to do is rest and can't because of how hard and uncomfortable they are. We stayed a the Sheraton for one night before staying here and the bed was perfect, I only wish these were the same. Aside from that, we loved the hotel. I heard no noise from any rooms around us, the theming is excellent, the convenience store onsite has amazing food for excellent prices - we aren't "exotic" eaters and found plenty of "western" style food here to keep us full. I didn't use the Lotso Cafe as it was too expensive for us but it looked really cute. Loved the included amenities like toothbrushes etc and kids loved using the PJ's while we were there (make sure you don't take them they are not free to take home) Only downside was it was scortching hot and there is no pool.

The hotel is brilliant. The best theming I have ever seen in a hotel. They have all the amenities you need, the monorail is right outside the hotel and links you everywhere you need to go, staff are wonderful, rooms are a great size and the whole place just makes you smile. Do yourself a favour and stay here - even big kids like us loved it!

The best Toy Story experience the kids can have. Lotso Cafe was also a great dinner experience. Short walk to the monorail which connects both to the parks and to the Tokyo metro. Not easy to get find a room though - you must be persistent once your date is open for reservations.

My family stayed at superior room with square view for 1 night. The view of our room (on the 10th floor) includes the square and the bay, which was very nice. The room was clean and the staff was helpful and nice. The room has USB charger for phones which is conveinent. There is disney elements (toy story) everywhere in the hotel, including the square for photo taking. Check in was smooth, but I think it is better to avoid the queue to check in a bit later than 3pm. Express check out is available which was convenient. If you are used to the proximity to the parks of Disneyland Hotel or MiraCosta, you probably will feel this hotel is a bit far from the parks. After existing from the monorail station, it took quite a bit of walk to the hotel (I think something like 5-10 mins), which is acceptable but could be a bit tiring under summer heat. This hotel is cheaper than Disneyland Hotel and MiraCosta, but the service is less. I needed to move to Disneyland Hotel the day after Toy Story hotel, and the staff asked me to bring the luggage to the lobby floor so they can help transfer the luggage. For Disneyland Hotel and MiraCosta, I just needed to leave the luggage in the room, and call the service hotline to arrange for the luggage transfer, which saved really a lot of effort. Having said that, the staff is helpful in general and I didn't meet any less friendly staff in this hotel. We didn't try the restaurant at the hotel. But there is a convenience store at this hotel, which I can buy food and drinks (lots of choices). The store opens early morning until midnight. We stayed at Maihama Dream Gate Hotel the night before, and I feel that Maihama Dream Gate Hotel is more convenient, although its service is not as good as the Tokyo Toy Story Hotel. But for the happy entry I probably will choose Toy Story Hotel if I need to choose among these 2.

Judging from the lobby of this place, I initially thought it would be a bit gimmicky outdated of a hotel, but to my surprise the rooms are really nice and comfortable with separate showers and toilets and a washing basin in the middle allowing a family to have one child bathing whilst another is in the toilet or brushing teeth outside. We had a room with a view of the 3rd floor playground and the sea beyond which was quite an amazing view. Our room had two beds with the second bed offering an pull out bed for a third guest. I also used the laundry-mat with very reasonable charges - Y100 for the washer (or was Y300??) which included detergent and Y100 for 15mins of the dryer. The hotel doesn’t provide bottled mineral water but does provide filtered water on every floor. We had one dinner and 3 breakfasts at the hotel. The menu does change slightly each day and is typical of what you would get in a Disney’s resort. Majority of the menu is actually for kids. The hotel is located near the monorail station (5mins walk) and is one stop from Disney sea and 3 stops from Disneyland so perfect for accessing both parks. Overall, we had a pleasant 2 nights and 3 days stay. The kids (7 & 11) absolutely loved the hotel. It’s very clean, convenient, the rooms are well laid out and was very comfortable to stay at. We had great views too. Would highly recommend to other families looking for a place to stay to visit Disneyland/Disney sea. Hotel guests get 30mins priority entry before park opens. We got the vacation package that gave us the ability to buy premium/priority passes to get on rides without waiting (which are expensive but we’ll worth it if you can afford it).
