Aalesund Airport Hotel Reviews

I stayed in this hotel from 16 May to 20 May 2024 on holidays with friends. Very clean and spacious rooms with comfortable bed and two sets of plllows -one very fluffy and. other one thick pillow which I never experienced anywhere else in Europe and North America . Breakfast was good with a choice of cereal ,tea, coffee and juice , bread , fresh fruits and yoghurt- nice and filling. Friendly and helpful staff with a welcoming smile . Good value for money. I will stay again on my next trip to Norway.

The hotel was located very close to the airport. It is on the second floor of a kiwi and has a very cute cafe area… The hotel is basic, but the rooms have snacks included. A coffe machine free dispenses free of charge. The beds were ok. Clean. Simple but very convenient.

Practical, basic but clean hôtel for early flights out of Alesund. Limited food, but shop available for basics.

An excellent choice for no frills clean and friendly overnight accommodation before or after a flight from Ålesund Airport.

This property was great to stay, very spacious, close to the city and the airport. I will stay there again.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Old, room the size of a shoebox, old food left in the fridge and the tv doesn’t work. They said they’d have someone here in twenty minutes to look at it but it’s been nearly an hour and there’s no sign of anyone. I’d call reception but there’s no phone in the room either. No care factor whatsoever. I would never stay here again.

A few minutos from the airport by car, it is a strange hotel. Parte of the rooms are kind of inside a supermarket. Confusing. Part of the rooms are outside. I stayed in one of the outside rooms. It was small, but well organized and clean. Staff don`t know English, so it might get complicated, especially because there is no one at night hours. Breakfast is payed separately. Price is not bad, about half what is charged in the city, but it is also very far from Aalesund. Take it if you have a car and want just to sleep and save some money,

Good location for us. Free parking, easy trip into Alesund. Part of a multi use property which includes a cafe and supermarket. Rooms were clean, roomy and quiet. Good breakfast with Bacon/Eggs available. Free coffee machine on landing. Fridge and "mini bar" in room. Friendly staff. Disliked · No kettle in room.

Really easy and good option when we arrived late at night at Alesund airport. The FB65 bus from the airport takes you to the doorstep of the hotel. The VY buss timetable and ticket prices can be found on their website. Late check-in came with easy to follow instructions to get our keys from a locker/post box. Breakfast was actually really good! Staff were very helpful. Decent sized supermarket in the same building which was very convenient. The room was well thought out with a free standing shelf in the bathroom to lay our toiletries and towels. Hairdryer provided. What was booked as a pragmatic overnight stay turned out to be one of the better hotels in our entire trip!

Was good for one night stay after late flight arrival

We stayed for just one night on our way to the airport and it was fine for that situation. Rooms quite good sized and comfortable.

Hotel is situated in the middle between Alesund airport in Vigra and Alesund city itself. Appr. 10 minutes drive to airport, taxi cost 230 NOK ( better pre-book in advance ). Being in middle of nowhere, hotel is situated in building, which have multi-function purpose - there is supermarket, canteen, bus station and hotel in same building. Rooms are basic, limited supply of toiletries. Good breakfast. Acceptable for short overnight stay before early flight. Reception doesn't work at night.

Nice

Simple but welcoming and clean structure, well located 8 minutes drive from the airport and also close to Alesund. Inside the building there is also a supermarket, where you can buy what you need. The reception is located inside a café/restaurant, where breakfast is also served, open until 11pm and where it is possible to dine with fish & chips, salads and burgers. The car park in front of the bedroom window was spectacular, so we had the car under control. In addition to the hotel car park, there is also the supermarket car park, which is also obviously free. Good breakfast, available internet and friendly staff. Good value for money. The only small drawback: the air conditioning was cold and quite strong, not adjustable or deactivated from the morning at 6am to the evening around 11pm (despite the fact that it was raining outside and it was 10 degrees).
