Sonesta Select Atlanta Cumberland Galleria Reviews

The room had a loud smoke smell that came even through the vents. I'm not sure how it did, but it did. It was not **** either, it was definitely something more sinister. I would not recommend staying here with children.

Better Sonesta than the other... False advertisement on Trip.com apparently from Trip.com's side. Still waiting for my.rehimburaement from Trip.com. Their collaboration was a mess.

The towels in the guest room are not clean, there are unknown hairs, and the bed sheets are old

Bathroom shower had red spots on wall and bath towel in room was ripped. But the property and staff were nice overall.

You couldn’t ask for better desk clerks! They were friendly and made you feel welcome. First night was great! Second night, horrible! It started around 3am, with loud singing, foul language, laughing, ignorance… best describes it. They sounded as if they were rowdy teenagers, they obviously never went to sleep, because it continued up until 8:30am. It’s obvious the walls are “thin”, you could hear them rambling through their bags. I won’t be staying there again, I’ll pay more and stay down town Atlanta.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. It was quiet. Never had to complain. Staff was friendly and the room was clean to my liking.

I never leave a review but I must say Tiffany was absolutely amazing. So she and the other young lady at the front desk were great so they get 5 stars. Now my overall stay wasn't comfortable but the staff tried to accommodate as best they could. The pet smell was just bad in my first room, got switched to another room same thing and my third room for my last night was better. When you travel for me the most important part is a good night sleep, which I didn't have. This trip was for me and my boys but they were ok overall and that's all the matters. The beds didn't make me feel comfortable, towels had hair in them, neighbors were loud. Although I have these complaints being in management myself I must say management was absolutely great, so I thank them for that.

Overall experience was pleasant with the exception of paying for Parking & Housekeeping expectations. It's important that you kinda due your own keeping up the room clean until your leaving day. Thankful, that im a neat and tidy individual.

I can't recommend this hotel any longer. It's not bad, but for the past two times I've visited, my room on check in had the bed obviously used for a nap (sheets thrown back, remote on the bed, etc...) or was not prepped by staff or this time, the bed was unmade, sheets (used it appears) thrown on the couch in the room with the pillows. Both times management immediately moved my room when I brought them to the room, but this is completely unacceptable to walk into the room and discover this. Aside from this, it's not bad, but I can't just continue walking into this.

Our stay at the Sonesta was great. The front staff were delightful and easy to talk to.Regardless of time of day, they greeted you coming and going. I had a little difficulty with my payment and both young ladies were very patient, they weren't rude and they didn't rush me. I greatly appreciated their commitment to customer service and should get a raise and recognition. Great job ladies!

Noisy guests next door, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. I received a random $40 fee during the overnight audit (front desk said that the charge would cancel out, but it didn’t and the charge has posted). Hotels normally have two side doors for entry/exit, but this hotel has only one entry and exit point. Also, microwaves are in the lobby, not the room. Secure parking garage is located across from the hotel.

The staff was friendly and room was nice. The hotel is close to stores and restaurant. I would definitely stay again.

We didn’t read the fine print to see that parking was an extra $12. There was a mall right across the street ( walkable) with lots of dining options including a food court. Unfortunately it was a Saturday night and the restaurants had very long waits.
