Hard to find due to street reconstruction outside, did not close the after cleaning of the room. good with late check in and out

Iv stayed in this hotel on and off now for over 4 years but recently I have had a really disappointing experience. I went to work on the morning to come home late evening and find my door open and a towel under it keep it open. I went to reception and asked why was my door open and they apologised and said it must of been a mistake by the cleaner which is fine we are all human and we all make mistakes. After further looking through my room I was missing a jacket of the back of my chair I asked if they had seen it or has it been mixed up on the laundry. They checked and came back with no. The next day I was told my room won’t be getting cleaned as no one wants to be blamed for things going missing. So I’m now being punished due to the negligence of there staff and making me the one to be in the wrong. I have sent several emails to of which I have had no reply Iv asked to speak to the management and no reply I find this very disappointing as up to this point it was a good place to stay but unfortunately I would definitely not recommend. I’m back in the area in 2 weeks we will go from there

This was a business trip where I was required to have a stable internet connection to be able to work from my room, but unfortunately I was forced to work from elsewhere for 3 days in a row (McDonalds and my family’s house) due to the extremely weak connection. I reported the issue twice, but the front desk staff was absolutely not interested to provide any assistance or whatsoever looking into this matter. They were blaiming it on the external internet provider and continued to look at their personal cellphone. I was surprised by the attitude!! The second time was even worse as they (3 clerks) were more busy making jokes and laugh rather than assisting one of their guests. I have stayed in other Bastion hotels which in general is a fine chain, but this facility has highly unprofessional staff members. The lack of service tells a lot about the management, in fact after submitting a complaint through *******, the management denied any compensation nor sending me an apology. The property itself is simple but good… cleaning could be better though, as the room smelled a bit moldy and had a dusty/sandy floor. Would definitely not stay here again.

Good hotel for a business trip, very close to a metro station. The gym as often in hotels is a small room with few equipments, so don't expect too much. The restaurant is overall good with big portions, although I had to wait a long time to be served on the first evening (but they told me in advance I would have had to wait). The hotel is currently next to a construction site. You will not notice it once you are in the hotel, but just something to note.

Very convenient for the worksite and local cafes and restaurants.

Reasonable price,excellent access,friendly staff, I am satisfied and I will come back to there.free parking, this hotel is perfect for business travelers and tourists because of above reason’s that I have mentioned.

Was absolutely perfect on arrival most helpful Credit to the company first class Them I met the rest 2 guys obviously staff and the dark girl who was more interested in flirting with the 2 staff guys now Off shift Customers ignored ,when pints were poured it was halfhearted totally wet glasses after spraying with jet too busy to notice (as facing the staff members)not on task at hand that the glass was scooping up water from sink then poured Worst service at a bar in my life I’m 54 year old Will never return John

I didn't have a nice experience in this hotel while I stayed during a business trip for a week. A big part of the staff I met is not service minded, they didn't smile or greet guests properly. Breakfast has a limited assortment, public areas are not clean, and there was dust and crumbles all over the hotel. The gym doesn't have enough equipment and is not maintained, the dirty towels were lying there for a couple of days. The corridors smelled of cigarettes as people were smoking outside and/or in their rooms. The room was clean and housekeeping did a great job. However, AC stopped working on the last day. I would not stay here again.

I have stayed here for 9 nights, liked the ambiance, infra. Staff were good. But not the food, no good, viable, and variety of choices for vegan/vegetarian. The menu was having pasta, burger, and salad for vegans/vegetarians. Though the KFC & Burger King is opposite to Hotel I feel equal options should be provided in the hotel for all kinds of food choices people and that too during the 21st century when we are facing a climate crisis.

Was a short stay for covid isolation prior to work. Reception was very welcoming, clean, roaring fire, and friendly staff. The room was clean and more than suitable for a weeks isolation. As I was bound to the room itself I had to rely on asking the staff for things! On hand was Bowy. Lovely young man who replied to my requests promptly and couldn’t do enough to help. I didn’t have a travel adapter with me and initially reception staff said they didn’t have any. Bowy, however, went out of his way to find me one knowing how important it is to keep phones charged. He will do well if he stays in the hotel industry. Not much else I can say as didn’t leave the room until it was time to go! Many thanks.
