Pullman ZamZam Makkah is a solid choice for a pilgrim stay in Makkah, especially if your priority is proximity to the Haram and full luxury-hotel services. The location is almost unbeatable. If you manage to get the right block/floor/view and go with realistic expectations (given the size and crowd of the property), you’ll likely have a good experience. However — if you prefer tranquil, boutique feel, fewer crowds, or especially if you have mobility concerns (elderly, wheelchair) or fiscal constraints — you might want to compare a few other hotels slightly further but with less hustle.

I had an amazing stay at Novotel Hotel. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful . I’ll definitely come back next time.

The hotel is outstanding for those traveling for Umrah. Check-in experience was excellent, Riham answered our questions regarding the stay and gave us a room on high floor. We booked a room with partial Haram view, and it did not disappoint. The room itself is spacious, bathroom is clean, with separate basin for washing feet etc. If you’re tired after Umrah, 24/7 room service can deliver food to your room, although a bit pricey. Concierge service was excellent, Basir helped us store our luggage after we checked out, so we picked it up after few hrs. Definitely recommend!

Located about 10km (10 to 15 mins) from Masjid Al Haram. Front desk staff are warm, friendly, and helpful. Check-in was smooth and fast as I pre booked and paid online as room rates were very reasonable. The room is very clean,comfortable, and accommodating. Good for a family of 4, 2 adults & 2 children.

This hotel is configured like a budget hotel in China, and it's super crowded. The view outside the window is worth 3k, while the room itself is only worth 300. Also, the low-frequency noise from the air conditioning units on the rooftop of the building in front is very noticeable. However, when watching the Kaaba prayers, this noise always adds a touch of mystery. Plus, non-Muslims can visit Mecca, and if you stay at this hotel, you'll be woken up promptly at 2 AM, 4 AM, and 5:30 AM every day.

I arrived before 2pm (start of checkin) and they let me enter my room. I was so lucky and thankful as my journey to Jeddah was tiring :-) In between my stays I often asked the reception to send the housekeeping into my room to set it up a little bit when I’m off in the city and the housekeeping did an excellent job! Everything was clean and well equipped. And I got my water and coffee daily. The area around this Ibis hotel is okayish. Could be better and without a car it can be dangerous, too as there is a highway with lots of traffic next to it. But I somehow managed it to walk some distances although Jeddah isn’t a walkable city. The closest supermarket is as Danube and about a 20 minute walk. The closest bus stop to get to the historic city center of Jeddah was also a 20 minute walk. Unfortunately on my last day the reception called me at around 11:30am and was asking why I didn’t check out. I told them that when I checked in I asked for a late checkout and the receptionist agreed to 1:30pm. I told him to type it into the system, but he didn’t. Otherwise no one would have called me before. Please update your staff especially when I did give a notice to do so and to avoid the calls when I need some proper rest before a long journey. All in all my experience was nice. I even visited the gym, which was well equipped. 5 stars goes to the excellent housekeeping!!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

This hotels location is perfect literally minutes away from the masjid al-haram. There is a special floor (C1) that leads you to the haram. The hotel is very clean and breakfast is open buffet which top notch!

Our stay at Royal Clocktower Hotel was fantastic! The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Great location, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent value—highly recommend! Very short distance to the Haram.

DoubleTree has always been my choice since i first stayed here in 2022. This is my 3rd time staying and the level of hospitality and service is so wonderful. I tried other hotels on my last visit in January 2025, but it wasn't great, so here I am back at DoubleTree. The location to the Grand Mosque of Makkah is fairly reasonable - one can walk (via Hilton Convention Hotel) - sloped surface, or take the complimentary shuttle that stops at Hilton Conrad on Jabal Omar. Wear good walking shoes. Mr. Ahmed Elsayed at the restaurant is a top-notch manager. I only mentioned something to him, and he had his colleague make it especially for me. That was totally unexpected and they both went out of their way to ensure that it was a problem. They did it again the next day. Such personable service from both gentlemen and the others at DoubleTree Makkah. The room was spacious, clean, bathroom had Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. The bed was super comfortable and I slept very well which is something rare! And of course the signature cookies i love. Thank you!!
