Beautiful blue skies, beautiful blue ocean! Had such a lovely weekend in Anglesea, I just wish it had lasted longer! The pub had amazing food and service! the local stores owners/worker were all so kind! We also went to the Tree Top Adventure Park in Lorne which was an absolute blast, good way to tire out the kids! Getting There - Head southwest from the city of Melbourne. Follow along the ocean road highway. Attractions - Tons! Bells Beach Lookout, Point Addis Beach, Anglesea Beach, Twelve Apostles, Childers Cove. Hotels - Seafarer’s Getaway (refer to one of my earlier posts about it) This is a must-visit activity when visiting Melbourne. We rented a car from Jucy and just drove along the great ocean road highway. There are tons of places to stop along the way with amazing views of the ocean and geographical landmarks. Many people surf along some of the beaches here. And on some occasions, you’d be able to see whales at some of the lookout points! #tripblazers #beachlife #australia

#bucketlistreboot Great Ocean Road in Southern Australia is one of the most impressive coastal destinations in Australia. It is also one of the most beautiful scenic roads in the world. Stretching for 243km between Torquay to Wattnambool, the Great Ocean Road has a lot to offer: rugged cliffs, beautiful rock formations, scenic viewpoints, stunning beaches, charming town, wildlife and many more. As there are so many things to see along Great Ocean Road, it will be overwhelming if you plan to complete in a day. Stretch it to at least 2 days with a night over at Port Campell or Apollo Bay. Do check out if there’s any road work during the day you plan to drive.

This road trip was a perfect salve from the busy city life! The crashing waves, the trickling rivers, perfect balm for a tired soul.

#createwithtrip Great Ocean Road is about 200 plus kilometres stretch of Coastline Road along the south eastern part of Australia. It was one of the most gorgeous attraction of Victoria state. I remember years ago when I was studying in Melbourne, we will always took this journey when friends or relatives visited. You can either joined a bus tour arranged by local tour operators or if you prefer the flexibility along the journey, you can drive and stop at different scenic points along the way. The most iconic part of the tour is definitely The Twelve Apostles. The formation of rocks raised from the sea is magnificent and rarely seen in other parts of the world. A great spot for photos and selfie. Other unforgettable scenic spots include the famous lighthouse guiding the waterway of Anglesea at Cape airway. One of my other favourite attraction is the Loch Ard Gorge. you can actually take a hike down to the bay and explore the magnificent site. It is simply the best. There are plenty of food joints along the way and you can stop at various places to savour the local cuisine. Among them are the famous town of Torquay and Port Campbell. This tour is the perennial favourite and I would recommend it with my both hands and foots.

This was an interesting place with a mix of locals and tourists. Their breakfast bowls are really tasty! Sadly, it's impossible to get a free table on weekends and it's not possible to book a table either. Since the place is really crowded it's really loud and you don't really have much space either. Not the cheapest, but the breakfast bowls are worth it. I would recommend going there on weekdays because it's a rather stressful experience on weekends.
