Turning a corner, we even saw a rainbow. Volos quietly lies between the mountains and the sea, and at that moment, you can’t help but slow down your car. 🍃Driving further into the mountains, you reach Pelion. The air becomes noticeably fresh and sweet, stone houses scatter across the hillsides, flowers peek out from garden walls, and the whole world feels lighter. 🍃Arriving at Tsagarada, the village is very quiet. There’s no tourist noise, only the sound of wind passing through pine forests. The biggest surprise is that you can drive all the way to the sea here. The sea suddenly appears before your eyes, deep in color, the waves gentle, creating a perfect contrast with the quiet mountains. Standing by the shore, you feel both far from and close to the world. 🍃My favorite is Makrinitsa. Sitting under a century-old plane tree, sipping coffee, looking down at rooftops, with the bay in the distance, clouds slowly drifting, and a gentle breeze. In June, I visited the Melia Fine Dinner at Lesante Blu Hotel in Zakynthos! You can book directly by searching the name on Google. Sitting down at 8 PM, you get the perfect view of the sunset 🌅—the scenery is truly breathtaking! Environment and service are top-notch— ✨ Environment: 5 stars! The sunset reflecting on the sea, dining while watching the sky turn orange-red—visually flawless. ✨ Service: 5 stars! The staff were incredibly friendly, and their champagne recommendation was spot-on, making the evening delightful. But the food is a major letdown! ⚠️ All 9 courses were lobster-themed, yet not a single dish was tasty... The lobster itself was quite firm, but the fishy smell was poorly handled. Worse, every dish was flavored with mango and passion fruit, and by the end, I genuinely felt nauseous 🤮. The only memorable aspect was how "bad" the food was! Summary: Come for the view, but don’t expect much from the food! What you’re really enjoying isn’t the meal—it’s the stunning Zakynthos sunset.
