Been coming here for years. The staff always remember my usual order, and they're just genuinely nice people. It's that kind of consistent, friendly service that keeps me coming back.

Set meal was a steal at 2000 yen. Main, soup, salad, rice, a drink, and coffee. The portions were huge, couldn't finish my rice. Good for a filling lunch.

The okirikomi udon was the star. The broth had a nice balance of dashi and soy, with a subtle pork undertone. Fresh veggies, thick noodles. A really solid, rustic bowl.

The location is so convenient, right at the base of the Nagasaka lift. I loved being able to ski right up for a warm lunch break. It was perfect for refueling with something fresh and healthy mid-slope. The view of the slopes while eating was a nice bonus.

Been coming here for years. The old building and the quiet vibe are what keep me coming back. It's just a nice, calm place to have a meal.

The curry rice here is something else! It's got this tangy, spicy kick that's totally different from the usual Japanese curry. Went perfectly with their seasonal chestnut cake. 🍛

The skewers are 240 yen for four pieces. The chicken is grilled just right, juicy inside with a nice char. Good price for something this well made. Cash only.

Wi-Fi works fine, but the power outlets are only at the counter seats. I had to move my laptop there to charge. Good to know for next time!

Been coming here for years. The owner always takes the time to explain the seasonal menu, which I really appreciate.

The outdoor tables are always clean, nice spot to sit for a while.

The prune ice cream is the only thing I care about here. It's got these little bits of prune in it, not too sweet, just a nice tangy flavor. That's what makes it good.

Came for a quick lunch. The old house is really well kept. Upstairs there's a small exhibit about a writer. Nice touch. Food came fast, which is what I needed.

The Baumkuchen is moist and firm, not too sweet. The original flavor is spot on, just melts in your mouth. Had it on the deck with a coffee, that was nice.

The terrace is so peaceful, surrounded by trees. We went on a mild afternoon and it was just lovely. Perfect spot to relax with a coffee.

The kids' meal comes with a toy, which was a nice touch. Staff also brought a small plate for my child.

Nice spot by the river for a quick coffee. Got a seat on the terrace, service was fast. Perfect for a short break. The view is relaxing.
