The soup of the day was a proper leek and potato. You could tell it was fresh, not from a tin. Really hit the spot on a drizzly afternoon. Good for the price around here.

Great spot in New Town, always buzzing. The walk-in only policy keeps it relaxed. We waited about 20 minutes for a table, but it was fine. Had the steak frites – cooked just right, crispy chips. A solid local choice.

Popped in for a last-minute takeaway and they were so lovely about it. Love that they're dog-friendly too – my pup got a little treat while we waited! 🐶 The staff were really chill.

The chicken baguette was the standout. Properly juicy, good flavour. Solid selection of sandwiches and pastries overall. Service was efficient, got my order quickly. Convenient for a working lunch.

Popped in for a quick lunch with a mate. The Thai soup was really warming and the panini was spot on. We ended up staying ages just chatting over decaf tea. It's that kind of relaxed place where you don't feel rushed out.

Been here for breakfast a couple of times now. The Lorne sausage roll is spot on, really hits the spot. Fresh orange juice is good too. Decent way to start the day.

Disappointing hotel breakfast led me here. Haggis toastie was good, staff were friendly. Convenient location for a quick bite.

Dog-friendly spot with treats for our pup. Clean, airy inside. Had a gluten-free roll that was actually decent. Nice relaxed vibe for a quick stop in town centre.

Lovely little courtyard for a quiet bite. The waffles were a decent treat in the fresh air.

The French toast here is really generous, and it was cooked just right. I appreciated having a comfortable booth to enjoy it in, made the whole thing very relaxing. A nice spot for a quiet breakfast.

Love the back lounge area. The sofas are super comfy and the artwork adds a nice pop of colour. It's a really nice spot to just sit and work on my laptop for a few hours.

Lovely, homely spot. I popped in for a late breakfast and was so pleased they could still do the Turkish eggs. The eggs were perfectly runny, and the yoghurt had that lovely, fresh tang. Just what I needed.

Decent breakfast spot, good value for the area. Staff were efficient and pleasant. The food was warm and tasty, nothing fancy but hit the spot for a quick business meeting.

The almond croissant was the best I've had. The pastry was perfectly flaky, not too sweet, with a rich almond paste inside. The hot cocoa was good too, but the croissant is the reason to come back.

Been coming here for years. The exposed brick and bookshelves always make it feel like a cosy living room, not just a cafe.

The hummus sandwich really stood out. The bread had this fantastic flavour, and the coffee options were solid. Staff were friendly. Just a really good lunch spot.

Great spot for a quick bite. The Americano is smooth with a nice nutty flavour. Eggs are always spot on. Staff are fast and efficient, which is perfect when you're in a rush.

Cosy little spot, but definitely more for grabbing and going. We popped in for a quick bite and ended up taking ours away. The food was spot on though, really good flavours. Just wish there was a bit more room to sit down properly.

Staff were super sweet. Really friendly. Made the whole place feel warm and inviting. That's the main thing I remember.

The lemonade was so fresh and delicious, really hit the spot. Felt like a little escape to Greece for an afternoon. The staff were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable.

Breakfast roll with bacon and scrambled eggs was solid. Good portion size for the price. Service was efficient, got my order quickly. Convenient spot for a working breakfast.

Lovely little spot, felt so cozy and relaxed. Had the smoked salmon bagel, really hit the spot. Just what I needed to escape the tourist crowds for a bit. ☕️

Popped in for a coffee and ended up staying a couple hours. They give you a little tablet with your drink, handy for browsing. Plenty of power sockets too, so I could get some work done. Nice, relaxed spot.

Stumbled upon this deli in Leith. Loved the fresh ingredients in my salad, everything tasted so crisp and vibrant.

The staff were very friendly, especially Jo. She makes a decent cocktail and was happy to help us settle in with our little one. A good spot for families.

This place is the cosiest little spot. The lighting is so warm, and the big windows make it feel bright even on a grey day. It’s the kind of cafe you can just sink into a corner with a book and a coffee for hours.

The staff at Burr & Co are incredibly helpful and friendly, providing excellent service even during busy times. It's a place where you feel welcomed and valued.

Decent spot for a simple bite. Had the soup, was good. Hot roll was solid too. Just what you need for a quick, cheap lunch.

Coffee's always smooth and creamy here, exactly how I like it. Came in for a quick cup this morning and it hit the spot. The barista got the temperature just right, not too hot to drink straight away. Simple and reliable.

The staff handled the Boxing Day rush really well. I noticed how fresh the salad greens were in my bowl, which was a nice touch. The queue moved quickly, so we weren't waiting long at all.
