The ebi fry was the best thing I ordered, crispy and fresh. Rolls were decent too. Nigiri fell a bit flat though, way too much rice and the tuna slice was paper thin. Maybe I just picked wrong, but I&#39;d come back for that fried shrimp again.

The chef&rsquo;s tasting menu was solid&mdash;each plate looked great and tasted even better. Portions were honestly bigger than I expected for this type of place. We left full, which doesn&rsquo;t happen often with tasting menus. Service was friendly too, no complaints there. Only thing is it&rsquo;s not cheap, but for what you get, I think it&rsquo;s fair. Would come back if I&rsquo;m in the mood to splurge a bit.

What a great restaurant this is!!! Hidden in plain sight, you would not think that a top quality restaurant was nestled away in a church within a stones throw of a busy roundabout! The decor is well thought through and very cool. The food, was unreal, the nine course tasting menu was something else, really well thought an flavoursome combinations of food on offer! The staff very knowledgable and friendly.

Been coming here for years now. Still my go-to when I want a proper brown cafe vibe without any fuss. Beer list is solid, always find something new to try. Staff remember you after a while, which says a lot. Place gets busy later, but that&#39;s part of the charm I guess. Just a reliable spot.
