Stopped in for coffee and cake after a walk. The homemade apple cake was really good, not too sweet. Sat by the window with a view over the water, which made it feel extra relaxing. Service was friendly and low-key, exactly what I needed. Just wish the coffee had been a bit hotter, but it was still a nice stop.

Decent pub food and a solid beer list. Portions lean small, but the fish and chips were cooked well. Service was quick even on a busy Friday. Fine if you're in the area and want something simple. Not the place for a big appetite, but it does the job.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the scallop starter — that one was solid. The beetroot and tartare dish didn’t do much for me. Quail main came out a bit dry. For the price and the star rating, I expected more. There are better spots on Funen, honestly. Service was fast though, so no complaints there.

The Smokey Joe burger was pretty good—beef cooked well, veggies fresh. Hand-cut fries with chili mayo were a nice touch. Portions are generous, so go hungry.

The crispy chicken with noodles hit the spot. Flavor was on point, portion big enough that I didn't need anything else. Place was busy but I got my food quick. Solid spot for a lunch break.

The Guinness Beef here was the real deal. Tender chunks, rich dark gravy, proper pub flavour. Had the fish and chips too, batter was crisp, not greasy. Pints are solid. Didn't care much for the vibe or the staff, just came for the food and left full. That beef is worth going back for.

Pho only on certain days. Kind of a bummer when you're craving it on a Tuesday. Got lucky once and it was really good. Broth was deep, noodles had a good bite. Rest of the menu is decent too. Just check their schedule before you go.

Finally a place in Odense that isn't just pizza or pasta. I had the open sandwich with pickled herring and it was fresh, not too heavy. The bread was decent too. Price felt fair for what you get. I'd come back for lunch again.

The burger was solid, fries were fresh too. They even remade a dish without asking when they messed up.

The wine list here is solid—plenty of good options by the glass, which I always appreciate. The cellar vibe is cozy, candle-lit, very relaxed. We ordered charcuterie and a few tapas to share, and they paired nicely with the wine. Nothing fancy, just straightforward and done well. Would come back for a casual glass after work.

Came here with a couple of friends for the buffet and honestly the Mongolian BBQ was the highlight. You pick your stuff and they cook it fresh, which is always fun. Sushi was decent too. Service was fast even though it was busy. Only thing—the fried stuff got a bit oily after a while. But for the price, totally fine for a casual hangout 😊

Fresh sushi, decent price for the city center. Salmon nigiri was nicely cut, rice held together well. Staff didn't rush us even though it was busy.

Lovely brunch spot — the place itself is really beautiful and calm. Food looked great on the plate, just took a bit longer than expected to come out.

Big portions, meat properly seasoned. Solid for the price. Service friendly enough, just a bit slow that night. Would've liked a better wine list to match the food, but the beer worked fine.

Strawberry daiquiri and truffle fries hit the spot. Carrot cake was solid too. Bit pricey though.

Service was genuinely attentive - they went out of their way to accommodate my friend's dietary issue. The food was good and reasonably priced.

The roast duck was surprisingly good. Crispy skin, juicy meat. Better than I expected for a place that mostly does grilled stuff.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the fish. It was fresh, no complaints there. Portion size felt right for the price. The staff were friendly and didn't rush me, which I appreciated. Just a heads up, it can get a bit busy around noon, so you might wait a few minutes for a table. But overall a decent spot if you're in Kolding.

The hot chocolate here is seriously good. Thick, not too sweet, the kind you want on a cold day. Handmade chocolates are solid too.

The retro diner vibe here is so fun for hanging out with friends. I grabbed a burger and it was solid, really juicy. The shakes are awesome too. Place is a bit worn around the edges, but honestly that kinda adds to the charm. Good spot for a casual catch-up 😊
