The staff was really attentive and polite the whole time. They even brought us a free coffee and queimada at the end, which was a nice surprise. 😊

Clean spot, pretty quiet for a Saturday. Got the grilled fish, seasoning was on point. Staff polite enough. Solid neighborhood option.

The food was really tasty and the place feels super airy, not cramped at all. Good spot to chill with friends over some regional dishes 😊

Followed the waiter's tip and got the parrilla for two. Meat was spot on. Olaf took good care of us.

Came here on a Monday for my birthday. Shrimp in tapioca was really good. The sun-dried beef platter too. Waiter was super polite, helped us pick stuff. Chill vibe, not crowded. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The steak with mustard sauce was really good, and that Serra das Almas caipirinha hit the spot. Candle on the table made it feel cozy. Prices are a bit steep though, but I'd say it's worth it.

The jackfruit ravioli was the standout — really creative and tasty. Drinks were good too. Service stayed on point even when it got busy. Cozy little place, though it did get a bit loud later.

Stopped by this little place just outside the village and honestly the walls full of local art caught my eye first. Chef came out to say hi which was nice. I had the grilled fish and it was cooked just right, flaky and simple. Not a fancy spot but has that homemade feel. Maybe a bit quiet for my taste but fine for a chill evening.

The egg dish was really good, and they handled my vegetarian request without fuss. Just double-check the farofa, it might have dried meat in it. Portion size felt fair for what you pay.

Went back twice while we were in town. First night had the parmigiana, second night the beirutes. Both hit the spot, honestly. Service was friendly enough to make us want to return. Nothing fancy, just solid food done right. Wish I had room for dessert though.

Pizza was solid, price fair for what you get. Better than most places around here honestly. Crust had a good chew, sauce wasn't too sweet. Didn't blow me away but I'd grab a slice again if I'm in the area.

Right next to the cathedral, super handy for lunch. The feijoada was solid, but that dried beef with black-eyed peas really got my attention. 😋

Been coming here for years now. Food's always fresh, Arabic style done right. Service is friendly enough, nothing fancy but they treat you fine. Prices fair for what you get. Not the kind of place that'll blow your mind, but it's solid. Good to have a spot like this in the neighborhood.

The terrace gets the best light in the morning, so I grabbed a seat there for brunch. Coffee was solid, and the vibe felt super relaxed. Place was already filling up by 10am, so I'd say come early if you want a good spot. Just wish they had a bit more variety on the menu.

The hot chocolate here is seriously good—rich, not too sweet, just the right kind of comforting. I only tried the crepes too, which were pretty solid. Nice little spot if you're craving something warm and sweet. Would come back just for that drink, honestly.

The strawberry and ginger drink was so refreshing, and the fries were good. Owner found us a table even without a reservation, which was nice. Dirt road to get there is a bit rough though. 🍓

The sauce tasting thing is actually pretty smart. You try all of them before committing to a burger, which I appreciated. Cocoa barbecue and orange mayo were the ones I liked most. The seating area is a bit cramped though, not gonna lie. But the whole tasting setup makes up for it.

Thin crust here is basically a cracker, not gonna lie. Flavors were solid but the portions felt small for what you pay. 🍕

The grilled fish was spot on, flaky and juicy. Portion size surprised me for what they charge. Place was packed on a Tuesday night, so service got a bit slow near the end, but the food made up for it. I'd come back just for that fish again.

The Gouda tart is seriously good if you have a sweet tooth 🍰 Service was nice but the AC was dripping water right by our table, kinda annoying. Lime juice was meh though.

The strawberry juice with currants is something else. Sweet but not heavy, I kept going back for more. The medium noodles are huge, honestly enough for four people. Flavor was good but yeah, a bit oily. Buffet price is on the higher side for what you get, but that juice alone kinda makes up for it.

The Deli Maki was the reason I came and honestly it didn’t disappoint. Breaded shrimp wrapped in salmon with that torched sauce on top… so good. The rest of the menu is fine, nothing crazy. But that one dish stuck with me. I’d go back just for it. Maybe a bit pricey but worth it for that roll.

The malassado was solid — crispy pork cracklings and fresh beans, well seasoned. You can tell they’ve been doing this for 65 years. Quality’s still there.

Came in on a busy night and honestly the staff looked a bit lost. Took a while to even get someone to take our order. But the food? That saved everything. Had the grilled fish and it was cooked just right, flaky and juicy. Place gets loud when full, but I'd deal with it again for that plate.

The buffet was decent for a hotel spot, good enough if you're staying there. Service was polite but the selection felt a bit limited when I went. Fine for a quick meal, nothing more.

Decent spot in Barra. Had a beer and some snacks, view of the sea was nice. Menu goes from pizza to moqueca, prices a bit friendlier than other places around. Food was pretty good, nothing fancy but fine for a casual afternoon.
