Staff were friendly and attentive, which made a difference. They had good suggestions for the wine list, helped me pick something that went nicely with the steak. A solid spot if you value service.

Lots of local Chinese folks here, so you know it's the real deal. My shredded crispy beef was spot on - really nice texture and flavour. The spring rolls were a solid start too.

Heather and Melissa were super helpful with our wedding planning. They answered all our questions quickly, and everything just went smoothly. Made the whole thing way less stressful.

Great service for allergies. Our server double-checked everything with the kitchen before we ordered. Felt very secure dining here.

The restaurant has a warm, cosy atmosphere with a lovely ambience, perfect for a relaxed meal or a special occasion.

The Anchor Line boasts a charming, old-world atmosphere, serving delicious food and excellent cocktails—ideal for a relaxing visit.

The rosemary focaccia starter was a generous portion and really tasty. Some of the pasta in the mains was a bit overcooked though.

Perfect for a quick bite before a show. The pre-theatre menu is a good deal. Spinach and rocket starter was fresh, sea bass was tasty. Pizza base is nice and light. Got in and out quickly.

The ginger handi was really tasty, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. Lamb karahi was good too. Saw the kitchen, looked clean which was nice.

The dairy-free curry here is a game-changer for me. So glad they have that option.

Haggis bon-bons were spot on - crispy outside and that honey mustard dip really works. The burger patty was a touch dry for me, though.

Family-run spot. Staff were super friendly, stopped by our table a few times. Helped us pick a pasta dish. Felt really welcoming, like a proper local place. 👍

Came here for my birthday dinner. The staff were so lovely, really made it feel special. They even brought out a little dessert with a candle on it. The vibe was just right for a celebration.

The chicken kebab was really tasty. I also appreciated how comfortable the seats were, which made the whole meal quite relaxing.

The fillet steak is always cooked perfectly, and I appreciate how fresh the ingredients taste. The setting is lovely for a quiet dinner.

The food was really good, especially the pasta. Portions are a bit small for the price though, so keep that in mind if you're hungry.

The staff were so friendly and efficient. They even offered to take a photo for us, which was a lovely touch. The bruschetta was fresh and tasty, and the pizza was really good. A very comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

Lovely, spacious pub with a good selection of beers. The booths are really comfortable, which makes a big difference for a relaxed drink. I appreciated that the staff were friendly without being overbearing. A pleasant spot to unwind.

Been coming here for years with my mates, and it's still our go-to for a catch-up. The pre-theatre menu is spot on for a quick, tasty bite before heading out. The food's always reliably good, and the vibe is just right for a casual group dinner.

The roast chicken was so juicy! We went for a Sunday roast with friends, and the cosy, homey vibe was perfect for a long catch-up. The background music was just right, not too loud. A really nice spot for a relaxed group meal.

Booked for afternoon tea and they were really good about my friend's allergies. The staff checked everything carefully. Made it a relaxed visit.

Breakfast was simple but the coffee was honestly one of the best I've had. The staff were so kind and attentive, which really made our morning catch-up feel relaxed. Great spot for a chat with friends over a proper cuppa.

A lovely spot in the centre of town. The place is spotless, and the team are all so friendly. We had a few of the bar snacks – the crispy squid was a real treat, and the prices felt fair for what you get. A nice place to unwind.

The students running this place are so attentive. My lamb was cooked just right, the sauce had a nice depth to it. It's a lovely spot for a quiet dinner, and you can tell everyone's really learning their craft.

Always a reliable spot for us. The food's consistently good, but I have to mention the lovely staff member with purple hair. She spotted us scrambling for change and sorted it out for us. Such a kind gesture that made our evening.

The staff here are genuinely lovely. Had a great chat about their seasonal cocktail menu - the bartender recommended a pairing for my steak that was spot on. Service with a smile makes all the difference.

The five-course set for £22 is a solid deal. Honestly, the food quality is on par with places that charge a lot more. The dining room itself is quite nice, with a relaxed, uncluttered feel.

Came here with a few mates for a catch-up. The butter chicken was spot on, really creamy and flavourful. The vibe was relaxed, perfect for a long chat without feeling rushed. Just a bit on the pricier side for a casual dinner, but we had a nice time.

The staff were so lovely about my friend's gluten-free request. They even let us bring my pup inside, which was a huge plus for our little group. The food came in really generous portions too - we all left stuffed!

The chips are spot on - really crisp and not at all greasy. Portions are generous for the price. Service kept up well even when it got busy, which I appreciate. A solid, reliable spot.
