The gluten-free menu was clear and had good choices. Makes a difference when they actually know what they're doing.

The garlic mushrooms were a huge portion, easily shareable. My burger with bacon and BBQ sauce was decent, but honestly felt a bit pricey for what it was. The mushrooms saved it value-wise.

Small plates menu was creative. Really liked the brown crab and their patatas bravas. Every dish looked great. Flavours were spot on.

Decent Italian place with a few solid vegetarian choices. The pasta was pretty good, and the service was fine. A bit on the pricier side for what it is, but not bad.

Service was quick, which was nice. The dark, moody lighting really sets a cozy, intimate vibe. I appreciated the short but thoughtful wine list—found a nice red that went well with the steak. A solid spot for a relaxed dinner.

Booked a table for a big birthday. Food was solid, especially for the price. Staff were really on it, handled our group well. Good spot.

Food was really tasty, the owners are super friendly. Had a quick lunch, everything was spotless. Prices are fair. Just a solid, no-fuss spot.

The food was really good, but honestly, the main thing for me was the space. It's just a nice, relaxed room to be in. The tables aren't crammed together, and the lighting is soft. Makes a big difference when you're just having a curry on a random Tuesday.

Had a vegan pizza here last night. They'd run out of the vegan cheese, which was a bit of a shame. But the staff were really helpful about it, suggested a couple of alternatives. The pizza itself was still really good, the base was spot on.

The owner's been here for decades, you can tell he loves it. He actually came out to chat and asked how we liked our pasta, then tweaked the sauce a bit for us. Just a really nice, personal touch.

Been coming here for years. It's the one spot where I can actually hear my mates talk, even when the footy's on the telly. Just a proper, quiet pub.

Really liked the vibe here, felt like a cosy little cave or an old train station storage room. The decor is interesting, adds to the whole feel. Just a cool spot to grab a bite.

Been coming here for years for their cooked breakfast. The kippers with poached eggs are my go-to. The smokiness is just right, and you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. Coffee is always good, too. A solid, reliable spot.

Been coming here for years, and the fish is still the reason. It's just consistently good. Crisp batter, flaky inside. Honestly, it's become my go-to spot when I want something reliable.

Vegan menu is huge. Staff really listen, ask about preferences. Got the jackfruit curry exactly how I wanted it.

A nice little spot in the centre of town. I appreciate that they open early and it’s always clean. The staff are pleasant, which makes for a relaxed visit. The food is consistently good.

Spotless and spacious, really comfortable for a sit-down meal. The tables are nicely spaced out, so you don't feel cramped. Just a solid, clean spot to grab some food.

Mezemeze....the friendly restaurant with a friendly and professional team. The food was excellent..5 Stars. Many thanks for one of the best lunch in Edinburgh Town.

Great spot to catch a game. The energy is just right - lively but you can still have a conversation. Staff were on it, never had to wait long for a refill.

Perfect for a pre-theatre catch-up with friends! Right across from King's Theatre, so super convenient. Service was quick even though it was packed – we didn't feel rushed at all.

Managed to snag a table on a packed Saturday night, which was a win. The outdoor area was lovely, strung with those soft fairy lights. Drinks menu looked good, but they'd run out of mint for my mojito. Shame.

A lovely little spot. The homemade scones are great and really good value. The volunteers are so friendly, service is just a bit relaxed sometimes.

Friendly staff, they even gave me a taste of the pasta sauce they were simmering while I waited for my table. It was a nice touch, made the wait feel shorter. The sauce was rich and had a good depth of flavour.

A decent spot for a casual night out. Plenty of screens for the game and a pool table kept our group happy. The Sunday roast was pretty good, though the beef was a touch dry. Fine for what it is.

Great spot to catch up with mates right by Central Station. The outdoor bit was perfect for our group, felt like we had our own little corner of the city. Food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but the vibe was just right for a chilled evening.

The shisha was so smooth! We had a big group and there was plenty of space to just chill. The chai was freshly made, which was a nice touch. A really relaxed spot.

The pint here is decent. Good spot on Ashton Lane for a quiet one when it's grim outside. That's about it, really.
